Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Id say if the issue is there (to a point thats its bothersome) within the first few teams up to the Heat, then its something he will have to try ad fix thru sliders.
Personally i dont see it a lot with the new roster, but then again i only use the 100% teams with pass edits included.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Okay, okay, that explains it. I can sorta live with the blind passes (like I said, they only happened twice in two quarters), but the lead passing was mostly on display with the Lakers. The Heat didn't do much of it. I think they did it maybe once.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Yeah the Heat have Wade leading with a 70 pass 92 aware, Arroyo 65 pass 73 aware, Chalmers has a 62pass 70 aware. After that...39,39,38 etc.
Pretty much every team is calculates this way.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Also, some position changes:
Dwyane Wade: SG only
Quentin Richardson: SF only
Lamar Odom: PF only
Pau Gasol: PF/C
Kobe Bryant: SG/SF
Ron Artest: SF only
Sasha Vujacic: SG only
Shannon Brown: SG only
I think for a player to be assigned a certain position, he should have to play at least 10% of his team's minutes at that position. You can find that info on 82Games.com.Comment

If they arent doubled labeled all it take is an injury for a team to play and start some scrub that shouldnt see the light of day nomatter the situation.
Some of my rotations look different than i remember setting them at also.
Anyways. On THIS video game you cant edit the positions that way. The coach here is a computer A.I. and goes strictly by pos.
Miami, has two PG's on the roster. If Either Arroyo or Chalmers gets injured or foul trouble, Either Haslem or Wright should pick up those mins.
Wade,Richardson,Beasley,Haslem and O'Neal would be the next best lineup. If not that lineup it would be Wade,Richardson,Wright,Beasley and O'Neal.
If you dont set Wade to SG/PG, you see Cook or somebody which wouldnt happen.
Another instance, in real life if Pau Gasol or Andrew Bynum gets injured or foul trouble, who moves in? Lamar Odom. Doesnt matter for which one, as the next best player he is the one coming in.
If you set him to PF only, you know who gets the run? DJ Mbenga. You know who subs in for Bynum? Mbenga...1st quarter.
After i go through rotations and complete a team, Everybody is labeled for a certain way for a reason. And keep in mind it doesnt garantee that you will see that player play that position during every game.
To me, Lamar being on court with Pau (even if Lamar is labeled the C) its way more bearable and realistic then seeing DJ Mbenga the human victory cigar getting run all game.Last edited by Neon1; 03-15-2010, 09:22 PM.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
You're definitely mistaken about Mbenga, man. He is the primary third string center. lol, if that makes any sense.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
But if you set Wade as SG/PG, Chalmers won't see the light of day on the court, and Wade will get all the backup PG minutes until he gets massively fatigued.
You mean at center? It'd be the same as before if Bynum or Gasol got hurt. Whichever player between those two isn't hurt plays center, and Odom steps in at PF.
That makes sense to me... this has happened in real life...

The way its set up Wade will hardly ever play PG. His secondary position is not a factor. Chalmers is PG only, Arroyo has PG only. If they combine for 48 mins there is no time opening for Wade to play there. He only plays there if there is an injury or substitution.
Mbenga, is the 3rd string, i know this. What im saying is the CPU will put him in regardless.Last edited by Neon1; 03-15-2010, 10:18 PM.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
No Wade will still start at SG. Its his primary position. The minutes per game set in rotations dictate how much or IF a player will move to thier secondary position. If minutes undercut or overpass 48 total per postion, then there will be a secondary position slide.

Only if Bynum or Gasol is hurt, which should happenComment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
I have it running and Chalmers comes in for Arroyo not even midway through the 1st quarter. Wade stayed in alongside Chalmers and Wright came in at SF and Haslem was at PF with O'Neal at C.
To start the 2nd Arroyo was back in at PG Wade still at SG with Wright,Haslem and O'nEAL.
Im not seeing this problem and never have (ive tested Miami numerous time previously)Comment
