Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
hey maybe someone can give me some info on this.
been watching cpu vs cpu games since roster release, and just can't quite get realistic stats in some categories
what i'm looking for per team per game........
STAT LOW#-HI#(ESTIMATED AVG# FOR LEAGUE)
FGA 76.5-86.5 (81.5)
FG% 42.5-49.0(46.0)
3PA 12.5-27.5(18.0)
3P% 31.0-40.5(35.0)
FTA 20.5-31.0(24.5)
FT% 72.0-81.5(76.0)
AST 18.5-26.5(21.0)
TO 12.0-16.5(14.5)
FOULS 17.0-21.5(19.0)
TREB 38.5-44.5(42.0)
OREB 8.7-13.1(11.0)
STL 5.7-9.3(7.3)
BLK 3.6-5.8(4.9)
PTS in PAINT 35-50(42)
BENCH PTS 22-40(29)
2ND CHANCE PTS 10.5-15.0(13.0)
FAST BREAK PTS 10-20(15)
For the most part no slider tweaks are needed. But I have been playing around with them to get them as accurate as possible. FGA seems easily adjusted by changing pace slider. FG% is tricky, as many factors change it so you have to look at shot location and, dunks and layup frequency, as well as shot sliders. 3PA & 3P% are easily adjusted with shot and tendency sliders. FTA's are controlled by commit fouls and foul rules. Tricky though, as there should be around 17 to 21 a game per team. Only around 10-13 of those should be shooting/blocking fouls, and around 2 should be charges. So the others would make up the reach in fouls. Rebounds are affected by fg%, and rebound attribute sliders. Steals are changed with steal success slider, steal attempt slider, play passing lane slider and def awareness slider. Blocks are changed with contest shots, and block slider. Points in the Paint are adjusted by shot tendencies, and controlling fast break numbers. Second chance points are highly affected by offensive rebounds, and putback sliders. Fast breaks i'm still not quite sure how to effectively change the numbers without throwing other things off whack.
So anyways, been getting alot of good numbers, but I can't for the life of me get offensive rebounds, blocks, second chance points, and fast break numbers close. sometimes i see good block games, but on average it is very low. also having trouble getting good turnover numbers, but i'm still working on it. this is cpu vs cpu on 12 mins, all star. i figure once i can get these numbers right for cpu games, i can use those slider adjustments and play my associaton so my teams overall stats are on par with everyone else. anyone have any ideas?Believe in the ball and throw yourself!Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
You're going to have to tweak the sliders to get offensive rebounds, blocks, and steals to your liking. There's no fix for fast break points, they're always low.
A lot of times I get obvious fast break points, but they are not counted. I don't know what criteria 2k uses to determine fast break points within the game.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
yeah i've noticed that about fast breaks too. i think fast breaks are defined as any shots that score within 6 seconds of the shot clock, with the ball passing through one half of the court into the scoring half of the court. i see what seems to be a fast break, but they're not always recorded. i might be fine living with this, as it is actually happening so it's ok.
blocks and steals i think i can get about right.
offensive rebounds are impossible!!! i've got offensive rebounds at 100 and def rebs at 0 and still not enough. so frustrated......getting off rebs right would also fix second chance points. not to mention it would make hustle guys and offensive rebounders worth signing during associationBelieve in the ball and throw yourself!Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Playing the Clippers and I just witnessed a lineup of
PG - Novak
SG - Smith
SF - Outlaw
PF - Skinner
C - Kaman
I don't know why. I tried to call a TO to see if the CPU would sub those guards out but they didn't. They played with Novak at the 1 for a good 4 mins. Blake wasn't hurt or anything. They were blowing me out if that matters.Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment
