Thanks for the compliments, yea my Essential Rosters rosters, Purists Sliders, and the EFA Draft Class all compliment each other very nicely.

I like these but all rookies like demarcus cousins and stuff have no trade value and only move up 1 overall a year while school fornoobs draft classes has some 90 potential and 76 overall so there the only studs later in association

It specifically says in the first post that my rosters were created to work with EFA Draft Class which has potential ratings set lower then normal. For example, Harrison Barnes has a 77 potential rating in the EFA.

Quick question, should I have player roles "On" or "Off"? Also, I honestly don't feel like starting from the beginning of the season in the Association so I was going to simulation (with injuries off) until December 8th (Bulls vs. Lakers) to see what happens.

I play with Player Roles ON, I enjoy the dynamics it adds to the game. Its really just a preference but I think it brings strategy into Association mode. But to each is own.

Do you think editing players' potential by -10 works? I believe there are too many good players after a couple of years in association and I hope editing this (in my roster) helps.

Yes, Player Progression in 2k11 is extremely inflated. If you are planning to play an Association for multiple years and don't want to play with all 90 rated players, then these rosters(or these Potential edits) are for you.

I'm sure your rosters are good but I'm a pc user so cannot try them.
I'm always looking for ways to improve my association long-term that's why I'm interested in potential's adjustments. I think everyone's <90 is a good start. My question is, what happens to players>90 like Lebron, will they start deteriorating with pot<90?

I see…I think the potential edits are a must for any Association user who wants to play multiple seasons. As for your question not 100% sure but I don't think players like LeBron will lower right away, maybe quicker though then without the potential tweaks.

By the way how is 2k for the PC? I have always been a console guy but I recently bought the Asus G73 laptop. How do you play with a controller or the keyboard ?

Is there a way that the offline roster you have on page 1 can be converted to something that can be used on the xbox? Or is it a ps3 file only? I messed around with it some last night, but I clearly don't know what I'm doing, and don't want to waste any more time if it's not possible.

Not that I know of. I have(and probably never will own a 360) sorry, always been a PS guy. But I'm pretty sure any conversion would have to be done manually. Sorry man hope you find a set of rosters you like.

No. All rosters for all Associations must be loaded from the onstart. So it's up to you of you want to restart or not

Dude, these are nice. I've only played two games so far, but they were good.

As the Pacers, I beat the Spurs in Game 1, it was 103-97. Previously it was Duncan playing a secondary role to McDyess. With your edits, I was getting destroyed by Ginobli, who ended up with 41 points, he got hot from downtown and absolutely destroyed me for 3 quarters. He had 26 at the half.

Tim Duncan, began taking over when Ginobli cooled off and ended up with 21 pts, and 13 boards. It was a very tough game, but we pulled through with Granger getting hot in the 4th.

Game 2 verse the Bobcats, was a freaking slugfest. I ended up losing by 4, 86-82. Granger was locked up most of the game, Hibbert played pretty well for me and I was able to get Collison loose a little bit. , 17 pts 7 assists. In the end, the inability to get Granger going did me in as I couldn't come up with a key bucket down the stretch and had to foul Wallace. He and Jackson ended up with 18 and 17 points respectfully. Player of the game, was Tyrus Thomas with 12 points, 11 boards, and 4 blocked shots. I see a theme coming with teams being able to beat up on the weak front line of the Pacers.

Going to be a fun season.

P.S. for sliders...I haven't played much lately so I am a little weak: on Pro - Sim everything default except I bumped the 3 pt shooting to 50 for both user and cpu.

I just did some testing on my own. D-rose is 22, rated 89 with 94 potential. I lowered it to 84. He got to 94 within 2 years and his potential got up to 87. He stayed at 94 till the age of 30 with minor changes to his attributes each year. In conclusion, i'ts ok for a player to have potential below overall. Now I'll try it on another player like Cousins, I think he's 19, 72, 88. I believe 2k's progression system is so flawed that users cannot tweak it
I think pc version is considered equal to the console one this year with our main complain being the TOTAL lack of support. I really love the ability to mod pc games though. I use a 360 controller, some games are just unplayable with keyboard+mouse.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but could you post an example of your potential scale? I'm using 360, so I'm trying to change the potentials and this is what I've done:
90+ potential: -5
85+ potential: -7
80+ potential: -10
below 80 potential: -15

Do you think this will be effective in still having star players but not as many 75-85 overall players?

I also left players that are already 80+ overall alone since they're already on their way to becoming stars
