Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
here are few updates based on question i keep getting pmed of.
I just sent this past weekend to vlad of the base roster save for the reditor for the 360. He is still not done with decoding the pc file... Our best bet is sometime before the all star game. I also sent the legends showcase save to see if we can edit that fill for people with paid for it to use.
Also as many of you know i have been able to extract the art files from the DLC . They have been sent to the creators of the modding tools for pc to decode it. These are files that do not have on the pc and will might be able to edit some of these. The road block is that i cant inject file back into the save. I am making the rounds on the net talking to people to see if we can crack it. This could make way for the pc "ART" mods to make it on the xbox . Still in the baby stages...
I also have been playing around with the online data file which save all the new shoes from nike and also new player art like rookies they are there and update . Thats why there are roster with rookie with the right color arms. I can extract files from it and inject back into it. But when you load the game it over rights everything you changed. And if you play off line the game crash when it trys to load.
And i found the nike id files save floder as well i can extract and inject files back into it. So for my roster makers you make shoes for players and such. IF YOU WANTED TO , you could release your nike id file floder from you hard drive. To go along with any roster you release. But you can not take shoes you made or some esle made into the floder . I have taken my shoes and add to other file with less and my shoes and replace shoes that are there and nothing.
Also there no need to fill my pm box , many others as well know how to edit. And if you post here they might want help."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
hokupguy, have you searched the roster file to see whether the non-traditional Play Books are able to be edited?
Two examples are End Game plays and Sideline plays. Both kinds of plays are in the game, but unable to be accessed from the Edit Playbook menu (or any menu within the game's GUI).Comment

Anything to help take over hokupguys workload so he can focus on his sweet hax.Originally posted by Balldude777In this case the lasagna restaurant started selling candy to kids and that became the best revenue stream so they’ve let the lasagna get worse and focused on becoming a candy store. I'll do my best to help when I get home and can consult my notes. Jersey edits and things I'm not quite as good with but, I'll do everything I can to help you out. Incredible as always man!I hope you get deeper into this soon and let us know how to do it!
By the way, one quick q:I don't know if this can be done, but if I want to replace a retro uniform (r.1.h.0.0.1) for a current uniform (u.h.0.0.1), since they have different numbers of characters what should I do: go the same way that for arenas, and let the last character empty (changing his value to 00) or is there another way to do it?thanks in advance! If you like my work I appreciate any help: https://www.paypal.me/s3anbarkl3yComment

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
If we can get the art files working, does that mean dornas will be accessible as well? That (and cyberfaces) are really the only reason I buy on the PC.Go Knicks
Go Bills
Go NY Rangers
Go Mets
Go Michigan
Go Arizona

I just need to find some one you can reverse the code so we can put files back into the DLC. Step one find the DLC =done , step 2 export files = done , step 3 inject files back in = not done...

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?
For replacing a current jersey with a retro one, is it possible to add an extra character so that the number of spaces are equal. I want to give the 95 knicks the 90 Knicks jersey as that version has the uniform number being smaller on the back. Hope there is a hex trick/workaround for one character spaceComment
