I will work for "exported teams" if you load it and try to edit and lose the logo and uni and becomes a created team then no.

I also just put up a new guide going over how to edit arenas. Just look in my blog i could make it any easier.

Be nice to get short shorts on them though.
i like that, i didnt think of that for suns that i made looks good.

I would be nice to have it work for CAT's but those files are so freaking crazy different from the exported teams.
I haven't went through the whole thread but what is the goal here? So far I can change sock color, shorts, neck type, use custom colors or if you want the logo to show or not show.

We also can now edit courts and the colors on the court with out effect them teams them selfs. You might want to go threw the thread , to catch up. By the way this **** wasn't easy to find out.

Found it! The code to make all uniforms SHORT SHORTS!

Hex edit a roster file. Use the Replace all feature to find 5080 and replace with 5090

Yep, if you replace all it turns every team into short shorts, with the one exception being created teams.

There were 481 5080's in my roster file, so I'm guessing each jersey is assigned a short length and not just each team. So one COULD go through and just change the retros to short shorts with some serious trial and error, but I don't care about that, short shorts for all! haha.

I exported a team with short shorts, then started comparing that file with an exported team that had long shorts. Did some trial and error of replacing a section and seeing if the short shorts where in that batch of code. Finally narrowed it down to 5080, and quickly tried it on a roster file. Pure joy. haha

here s few pic so folks can see what were talking about.

I understand I have been doing this since last year, I just asked what you wanted to do and no need for the tone. But if you go to offset 0x001cbefe you will see 5080 and just down from that you will see 0001 that will be the Bucks and then will be in alphabetical order.
Just above those teams are the bobcats and sixers. Anyway the 8 in 8020 will be if its home or away and the 2 will be sock color. Also you can change the neck pattern after the 8 for instance if you want black socks and V neck you would put 8120 or just 0120 if its the home jersey.

today might be the happiest day of my life! ok, not quite.

short shorts and white socks for all teams, the only thing keeping my historic rosters from looking perfect is the lack of hairstyles, retros and goggles. hopefully in 2k12 they just give us all these options out of the box and not make us spend months of trial and error trying to figure out how to do all this stuff.

it looks like i forgot to take the compression shorts off some of the guys in that roster, couldnt see em with them long shorts haha, im pretty excited about this.

hookupguy and messenjah, big thanks. and supdog make sure and share how to do the socks and thank you too!

edit: sorry supdog, looks like you already did.

It looks like the hex address may be different so here is screen shot of around where the jersey's start. Also if you see 8822 or 0802 I think that is the practice jersey's and you can also change the primary and secondary colors which are in hex and for example if you convert FF1414 you will get red.

Do you have a break down on the sock color and the neck patterns such as round and veck neck or those new ones that teams have know that was my plan of focus after getting short shorts.

I read on this board all the time but never really post, I find all this hex editing stuff very interesting and confusing all at the same time. Without much knowledge of this, would someone be able to create a "cyberface" and model of a player and assign code to it, than apply that code with the hexeditor to the game and it be in the game?

I ask this because I am, for better or worse, a die hard Minnesota Timberwolves fan, and as an association player it's hard to really get into it with lame and unrealistic looking Ricky Rubio CAPs.

Good luck with all of this, I don't understand a bit of coding but I'll be reading. (I too am interested in changing headband color and I think the sock color is amazing that you guys found out a way to change it.)
