That's the thing though, I wasn't only talking about the Heat jersey. I was talking about all of the second home unis with black accessories that he named that.

1)You have limited control over the order of jerseys. I wanted to give the 98 Bulls the black jersey of the current Bulls... but to do this I need a team after/following the 98 Bulls to do this... otherwise it would come first/be the default home jersey before the 98 jerseys.
    2) Bigger deal on this one.. when you assign a jersey from a different team/code.... the logo from this other team is used. For example I tried moving the current Utah Jazz's retro jerseys over to the 98 Jazz but the "modern logo" is carried over too. The modern logo appears in the 98's Jazz for game, statistics, etc.
1.) Yup, you're right about the limited control. It might not be too great for the classic teams, but at least it gives us a nice work around for current teams.

2.) Good to know. I hadn't used them in a game, just tested to see if it would work. I haven't tried to switch any logos yet, but hokupguy has the all of the logo codes in his blog. If each jersey slot has it's own logo slot, then that is a quick fix. I'm not sure that's the case, as I've only been hex editing since the beginning of the weekend and I haven't taken a look at anything to do with logos yet.

Love this find on hex editing jerseys.

Now if only we could figure out how to hex edit coaches. We may not be able to edit the coaches names but it would be nice to at least figure out how to locate the coaches in the hex file and then know how to change the cyberface.

coach's are part of the hidden floating bytes , only way would be with Reditor.

This would be great, however like mo2thewillyo said, when you assign the new Nets jerseys it also uses the GS Warrior's name in the intros and on the LED has Warrior logo graphics.

There is one way to get the name fixed, and the LEDs... but you won't like it. You have to sacrifice one team to do it. For instance, go in to hex and change the GS Warriors logo to The NJ Nets logo and change the GS Warriors name to the NJ Nets name. Then the Nets are fixed, but now the Warriors are completely screwed up.

If you have a team that you are replacing with a classic team (like using the 94 Magic instead of the current Magic), then sacrifiicng the current Magic is no loss.

It's a workaround but not ideal. It fixes one problem but causes another. Have you checked it out in game yet?
                thanks

No, I've been sick and haven't played any games. I looked at the at the file in HxD and came up with the same idea you've had after you edited your post. I'm still feeling like ****, so I won't try anything tonight, but what about changing the CAT logos, jerseys, name, and LEDs? I haven't made any of the teams, but I see code for teams like Iowa Stampede and ****.

All CAT's only have current jersey slots, no retros, so no go there. Not sure if there is a better answer out there.

Feel better. My prescription is watch youtube videos of your favorite classic teams growing up. That always makes me feel good!

                      Hi guys,

First thanks to all for share great info. There are a lot of things for do with HEX edition.
I want to change only the shorts color in a create team (TTM), but i don´t know if it is posible.
My idea is to put green jersey with black shorts, because i´m doing some teams of other leagues. So if anybody knows how to do i apreciate some help.
                      Thanks a lot!

So I was messing around with my roster and i decided to add gamer portraits to the guys I fixed with the Black arm glitch.... Well, once I applied the portraits, even though I had the players unedittable, they glitched back to the black arm glitch once I applied the gamer portraits.... Just figured I let u guys know that that glitch has to have some relation with the gamer portrait or something

i have been looking at this glitch roster... And it seems that the glitch gives the players with the black arms the alpha channel that is missing for the skin tone. Anyone that has edited art files on pc games know what i am taking about.

You might want to add the player pic on the actual file. then export the player out.

And has anyone tried to make a cap and then change the player to one of the black arm players fix the arms then upload to 2kshare player only????

If it's like last year, you can only add retros to CAT with REditor, I'm hoping it's the same cuz i've been waiting for REditor to be released!!!!
