does anybody know if we still get the animations at the beginn of games if I set a classic team as a regular team with proper arenas and audios etcc,should work right @hokupguy??

HOW TO CHANGE JERSEY STYLE ON CATs IN HEX
1.Create a Team on NBA 2K12 from the CAT Menu
2. Take that team into season mode and export it to a USB (FLASH DRIVE)
3. I suggest you use HORIZON to export the .TMM file to where ever you want it
4. I suggest you use HxD to hex edit the file
5. Open the .TMM file in HxD change your view to 28 and go to offset D4EC
6.It will have 03 20 00 00 00 09 for 60's 70's 80's style jerseys change it to 03 20 00 00 00 59
7. Now go to offset D522 this is where your shorts go. It will say 8B 6C
For Current Shorts leave it at 8B 6C
For 90's Shorts change it to 8B 6D
For 60's 70's 80's Shorts change it to 8B 6E
8. Save REHASH & RESIGN in HORIZON and SAVE TO DEVICE.

Offsets for HOME UNI
Team Code- D4EC
Shorts-D522
Offsets for AWAY UNI
Team Code- D530 It will have 03 20 00 00 80 09 for 60's 70's 80's style jerseys change it to 03 20 00 00 80 59
Shorts-D566 It will say 0B 6C
For Current Shorts leave it at 0B 6C
For 90's Shorts change it to 0B 6D
For 60's 70's 80's Shorts change it to 0B 6E

If you edit the team in the CAT menu the hexes will NOT DISAPEAR..YAY

This has been know for some time know , but no has ever had the time to in great detail like this. You should also save it in your arena blogs....

thanks man i just wanted to contribute. Might be useless to some people since REDitor is out but hopefully it works in 2K13 if we can still hex.

it is usually die's down after the REditor is released for the 360. So this will most likely be dead till October.

But the thread still here if people have questions regarding hex...

There isnt as far as i know and also because modio or any type of rehash resign program only work for Windows. You need to buy Microsoft bootcamp it lets you use window based programs on a mac.... its not free i think it like 150.00 or so...

I've searched and searched and figured I'd might as well ask to see If I could get a quick answer. Is there anyway to unlock a shoe brand of a player, say for instance Chris Paul is limited to Jordan only, is there anything in the coding in which I can remove this restriction?

yes just download the free verison of REDitor to do it .... Look in the REDitor lthread for the link.
