While I have no experience with hex-editing, when I open this file, the date--well the number, i'm assuming is a date--at the top of the file is 04-28-08 where as the date for all of my files for 2k12 read 10-28-11?

Well, took another look at 360 ROS files. Everything actually seems quite editable. It is some different from what we had last years, but it is editable.
So, don't worry. Well, unless there are some pitfalls, i haven't spotted with the first 2 quick looks.

The first ~50000 bytes is an XBox 360 CON header, so it has actually nothing to do with the real roster file contents.

This why I was asking chrome if he was 100% sure this real file. And Hok said on the surface it look close. Not sure if he meant the bytes side which the left or the right side which text.

And he seems to be out contact for the next day or so.

                Vlad,

Would you be able to do a Reditor III for this year? If so when would you estimate a release?

On the surface it is close you can see the players data, but there is other things that make it weird. Ima have to get coffee and stay at this mofo file.

I hope the file I got was real or I be hella salty lol.

When I looked at the Roster file I just made it was totally encrypted. Don't know how you'd even begin to decipher it, but then again I'm no Vlad. lol

I have been unable to find anything that I recognize. There are no words or phrases whatsoever. If you guys have any questions or anything you can send me a message on my new GT: DarkDefender103
