This is great news for all of the hex editors on this site and now we can check to see what players are hidden this year.
So can you comment on one of the Missing Players thread as to WHO is hidden. Thank you. Also if you Upload any of them to 2k Share could you let us know.

ok. I'm probably going to do it later. I have homework to do and i never really hex edited anything before but it shouldn't be hard for me to do. I'm going to tell kidclutch about it because he really wants to know who's hidden.

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

It's not a full list of who is hidden, but is a list of everyone required for a base roster that I found:

Here's the list I created from that thread. Players I found in the roster have an ID and a status to them. "A" is for "assigned to team". Players without an ID and status are players I couldn't find in this run through the roster. Unguaranteed players are added to their teams if they fit, otherwise they're released to free agency. Some guaranteed players didn't fit their respective team's roster either, but I've released them to free agency, so you should be able to fix the rosters and get them in.

That is only a list of rookies but it is great that now we can have nearly every rookie in the nba currently in 2k13. And is that there cyberface id in the spreadsheet or not?

That's their PlayerID. I haven't found a way to determine CF ID yet, but I'll keep looking.

Would anyone happen to have a team ID list for the classic teams in the game or specifically the 00-01 Sixers?

The player ID's dont connect to the players ratings?
I have the roster with them but they seem to have the same exact ratings

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

All the missing 2nd rounders are placeholders. Some have CFs and portraits, but that's pretty much it. 2K hasn't bothered to enter any other correct information such as ratings or whatever.

For anyone looking to hex-edit the rosters manually using a hex-editor and not specialized tools, make sure you understand what byte-alignment is. Sounds nice? Yeah, we don't have it this year.

I explain why it's nearly impossible for someone inexperienced with reading and understanding binary to just hex-edit in this post:
