I love the fact that guys like Fields and Harangody have faces in the game now. I was wondering how you were able to accomplish that and if there are possibilities of working to add more players portraits and faces?

if they have face in the game they should have portraits, when the new tool is done. You will be able to find the players face code then type it in for the portraits. Then you will have both in your roster of your liking.

          hi hokup,

question is, can we edit the warm ups for teams like miami?

OR is this only possible for created teams like your bucks pics above?

That's great! Do you have any early information on the tool? Did I miss it? I know you said it would be out in May. Any hints or information as to how it will work with the rosters/teams?

I assume there will be a tutorial provided upon release? Are you releasing the tool in this thread or will you start a separate one? Thanks!

Yes the tool is set to be release mid to late may. It was plained for early may but with decodeing the xbox files there is so much xbox releated garbage in between each section of the file. The pc files doesnt have anything like that just stright file. We will be able to edit the roster files just as PC folks to there's. As of right know they have been able to use succesfully 125 team active on 1 roster and still be able to have a normal season, assc and playoff modes. And best of all use hidden players and shoes yes , shoes.

There will be a detailed tutorial provided upon release. It Vlads tool i m just help him with it kind like i do with portlandblazer and his rosters. I will put up a new thread when it is released for everyone and a quick break down how it works. The only thing that is still in up in the air is if we will be able to remove logo from CAT's uni chest and custom sound track for classic teams. As off right know you cant edit TMM.files that might be the next verison after the May release.

hokupguy... this sounds really nice, and your efforts are very much appreciated (and others as well)!

Question... what's the learning curve on this? I'm not very literate in things like this. Is it difficult and what kind of knowledge does one need to be able to use this tool?

Thanks in advance for your help...

This is the single greatest piece of information that I have ever read on OS. I cannot wait to see what you guys come up with when editing all of the courts on retro rosters.

yes SIR you did , the Pc folks just released awsome MArch madness mod with 68 teams add on to the base roster that comes with the game.
I plain on taking full advantage of that will my extended jordan challenge roster i plain on getting out before the finals start i think it about 70+ teams right now.

So if people want to make roster of full classic teams with no restriction you will be able to. So if you want all NBA finals match up since 1947 till now you can.

Very user friendly , if you can make , edit and save a excel spreed sheet you can use the tool.

We can only edit the court as i did with hex , we can add art into the game folks , just work off what ever on the disc.

each team has code like this
                              0 – Regular
                              1 - Team Jordan
                              2 – CAT
                              3 - All-Star
                              4 – Blacktop
                              5- D-league terams
                              6 - some special teams
                              7 - non-used
                              8 - Rookies/Sophomores
                              9 – Chinese
                              10 - Summer League (?)
                              11 - non-used
                              12 - Historical (Jordan Mode)
This way you can trick the game and get around the 10 CAT slots.... Same goes with the Player caps make the game think its not Cap.
