Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

I found out a few things and this help the folks who like to make multiple's of the same team like if you want to make 3 rocket's 93-94,94-95, 99, 2004 and have them on the same roster. You can export one or some save it as TMM. and leave one as the main in the roster.

Then take that TMM.file into hex and edit to have the right yrs uni. The only thing the neck and sleve style will stay the same and the logo will be the current logo.(wish they had retro logo's in there to go with the retro unis, they dont i looked). So if you keep the 2004 rockets on the normal rockets then had saved the 93-95 rockets you will that that uni. Then the 99 team will have the space ship unis. But they all have the same logo and the to saved teams will be in a CAT arena w/ court.

I have made some more finds have a break down on the number code to all unis , arenas and logos. That should put up in my arena blog this weekend (hopefully). Also i have been able to move the blacktop mode into i different arena but not court show up. For know some pics of a east, west, rookie & soph teams these i planing on using for PB 99-00 roster.

                    Hey hokupguy,

I did some hex editing on NBA 2k9 Xbox 360 files when the hidden ratings were unavailable to edit in the game. I also had access to a resigner as well. BUT since the hidden ratings were available for editing after 2K10, I didn't touch it again.

BUT since you unlocked all this cool stuff, are you going to put together a list of what you found and where you can edit it in the file? Thanks for your help and great job on all the hard work.

yes i plan to , but it finding the time is the question . theres alot that i found.

i would love find where the last update is because there is court file there. Maybe i can do something with it or do the same thing with another court. Just dont know where to look in my hard drive for that file...

                      Does anybody know????

                        for title updates
Dump a title update to the USB memory stick First you need a USB memory stick that has been formatted by the Xbox 360, if you have a USB stick connect...

but I really doubt youll find anything to exploit there

ok i was able to find the last patch update #3 it was alot easier then i thought. Was able to extract the iff.004 file "cavs court" from it but could not open it with any of the tools that are out for pc files seems to be not the same. And also after doing all this my good friend Jao . Made think that i cant get it back into the update file only extract it.

Well i tried to do the impossible and it was impossible.
