when taking it into consideration that it is much easier to edit a PC game as your easily able to edit art files, its nuts that vlad doesn't think it be better to do the xbox360 first. It would be more valuable to us then those PC freaks of talent. Like I sayin they already got so much advantage and to enjoy the game than us xbox pple already do. Vlad shoulda done this the other way around.

If we have a season and 2k is serious about updating the CF's and shoes and stuff throughout the season PC and 360 will almost be equal, and 360 version has the advantage of better online play and custom soundtrack. Hopefully the lockout ends soon because I'm kind of waiting to see how 2k does their art updates before I buy the PC version, might not be a necessary purchase.

he plays it on the PC and it "HIS TOOL" so i not fight with him about.... There still are many restriction on the PC and 360. This tool is not only used to take advantage of art files but many more things. When he does it on the pc it make the process of the 360 alot easier and faster. The 360 file have some crap in its not even funny. Pc is just the main file with game related things.

So there is a reason to his madness....

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

i have gone threw all the hidden logos that were there last yr they are all there expect one 1, the nba 09 logo. Still going threw on looking for possible new ones. I was surprised to find the superstars , int all stars, old decade all star teams and draft class logos are there but the unis were taken out..

SIDE NOTE: Regarding the new DLC coming out, know alot of people have been ripping it. But since turning on my xbox today and see in part of the game menu know. Means that the code will be played off the disc. And the art download will be able to hex edited into the normal game. Yes this doesnt help the PC and PS3. But we have a 360. I will be getting it the day it is out. My idea is with all these new leagends be on it , that are already hidden on the disc but with black arms . with the DLC with will give them the right skin color. It look like will work alot like the cavs court update last year .

Also there are 3 unis sets hidden with in the hex code the turn out to be 513,514, and 900. But no where to be seen in text side of the file where uniforms are located. When added to a team there blank. Its seems that they my be related to the DLC. I am not sure if i am right or not , but think i am. Since the Time Sq courts in the hex file but theres no art for it in the game. The arena ID is 613 and if you go to hex file and fidn arena in text side and change 76ers arena code to 613 its all blank just the 76ers court.

This might be worth the $10.00, if you want to play with better looking retro rosters.

Here is a link to a little hex demo that was done on last years game. I think everything is the same except for the first numbers.

Oh and by the way, you don't need to edit shoe color the way it shows in the demo I just uploaded. Before TC1, you will see either "EBEBEB" or "141414". Those are the main shoe colors. Changing it there would be my recommendation.

its worth the 10 bucks if it lets me add classic players to the regular teams which it claims it does..... Any hope of AI being one of those legends? Technically if they can fix the black arm glitch, I cant see why they cant take a head-less cap and add AI to it....Wishful thinking I know

Will the fact they are using cel shaded graphics for the new content affect what you want to do?

                          01 40 D0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 XX XX

And do you have to use default rosters because mine just has all FF where there should be numbers

                              okay thanks,

another question, do the players in hex have a team code, if so would it be possible to change the legend players team code to a current teams code in hex and have it show up in the game so you wouldn't have to use the export work around?

they do and has been changed since last yr i and other very seasoned hex editors cant seem to find it....

many things have changed since last yr for example shorts, its no longer short shorts and current. Now its based on style of uni era 80-60 , 90's and current. I have found how to change the code of those uni and which one they are but when changes are made the game crash.

I and some others think 2k made it hard to edit. We are hoping Vlad the creator the made Reditor can figure this out with ease....
