I am not sure what I am doing wrong here. I d/l this roster and a couple of other ones that have adjusted the tendancies, yet in my first game against the Thunder Durant already has 13 shots in the first quarter. What am I missing, do I need to edit something else?

Jdoug, this info is very interesting. I agree with those tendencies eventhough, they aren't 100% accurate, it's way better than the default tendencies 2K implements out the box.
KG, Jdoug has thrown a gem at ur roster... it will make it 10x better & more accurate. I suggest u look over it & see if u agree.
all in all KG, u still da mtha fckn man my dude holla bakComment

@KG Good job on the rosters. I do believe that you should do the sig shot edits used in this thread ima post the link here:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...thread-40.html
They are really good and I applied them to my copy of your roster: the 1.3 Re-release and it plays much better. If there was a way to hex edit the courts that would be perfect but I doubt its possible on the 360. I also made position changes that were used in this thread:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...sider-108.html
For the most part the positions are on point but there are a few that I believe Rashidi did incorrectly. (shout out to him and ffaacc03 for the work they put into these rosters)
I'd love to see what you guys end up with after the final release in May (shout out to KG, Game, jdoug312, and all the other OS contributers that help to make this game more enjoyable for the masses)
Keep up the good workComment

Re: KG's Roster based on OS Collab rosters with Hex edits
not going to lie, stumbled across this thread and the OS collab thread a while back now, late march I think.....and it pretty much was the catalyst for me seeling my ps3 and moving back to xbox lol. I'm just waiting on a few for pay days so I don't have to break the bank when I get the xbox again (uni student, not made of money lol) freaking love what's been going on here and when I get my xbox, about 2 weeks away from that.....I'll be in full swing participating.....looking forward to itComment

Re: KG's Roster based on OS Collab rosters with Hex edits
honestly, I don't aggree with it, or lets say not to all parts. I think it is highly based on the personal view that each of us has of a certain player, and not on specific data or something like this. So in my opinion, if we are going to implement this tendencies and I give Kobe my subjectiv tendencies I'm sure that e.g. my good buddy gottibino won't aggree with them, cause he is such a great kobe fan and knows the nuances of his game....result re-editing, followed by another users peronal view that won't aggree...result stay with it or re-edit...guys this is the way I see it, I don't see that there will be a final edit which suits everyones demands. as I said it is based on personal views, and everyone has another view, so I think that once we start this, some folks won't be happy anymore...my personal view of this...
Not to start anything as I agree with you 100% as I stated in my thread that there is no empirical evidence for any of the dribble/finish moves. But having an educated guess is better than not having anything, wouldn't you agree?
That is why I clearly stated that it needs to be an OS collaborative effort from the guys who know their teams in and out. Obviously there would be a point in where "too much" changing of a minute amount would need to be overcome and dealt with.
Everything done with a roster that is not quantifiable by statistics is subjective to whomever is doing the roster.Last edited by chia51; 04-08-2011, 04:32 AM.Comment

Could you not say this about any of the ratings/tendencies?

Re: KG's Roster based on OS Collab rosters with Hex edits
Sure...it's always a personal view...and an educated guess is always better...but I'm still hesitating a little...let hulyan finish his edits and let me update some hex...then if you want to, you can add your data...the reason I'm hesitating is because I like the gameplay as it is right now...if your data is making it better than OK...add it :-)
Again test it out and if you don't like the feel of it don't worry about it. I plan on taking your 3/27 roster and after all my edits uploading it anyway.
It sucks that there is no easier way of editing in mass.Comment

No, its fine to be hesitant. Do a test with the teams that I have put up and play a few games. It doesn't drastically change anything, it just gives the CPU more diversity in their dribbling/finishing arsenal.

*understandably, there are egos in making Rosters, Sliders & any other kind of personal edits to anything in life, but let's not forget the main goal/purpose of "collaboration." it's a beautiful thing if done correctly. we are all here for the SAME CAUSE.
Chia, try & wait until KG puts out the latest version of his roster, then u can begin incorporating your edits into the roster & we test OT out.
also, KG u need to enjoy ur rosters man, I know I sure amLast edited by iameich; 04-08-2011, 04:53 PM."It's about damn time... It's about damn time.” - LeBron JamesComment

Re: KG's Roster based on OS Collab rosters with Hex edits
Could anyone tell me what I need to edit to ensure that Durant does not shoot 40 shots in a game? I have not edited any playbooks and am using this roster, but I am getting frustrated with this game because I cannot seem to figure it out.Comment
