yes u have to name him why wouldn't u?Unless u wana hex edit his name via Hex offset

If ur having a hard time using ur NBAplayer.cmg to find values then ONCE AGAIN .....save ur NBAplayer.cmg for the pasting part of tut and use any.cmg to do the color value search.

This is the way I do it.U really dont have to use that NBAplayer.cmg to do search any .cmg will work as long ur searching nba players using the default roster.

So, yes u will have 3 files open if u do it this way.Those files are

 default.roster, NBAplayer.cmg and any.cmg

If ur new to hexing then try it this way.

Would you be saving that (Lebron James hex) into your My Player file to replace a teammate? I still don't get how you find a specific player on your My Player team even after reading the tutorial.

A: Thats not wat u ask the first time.the first time u wanted to take a my player and add him to roster file.which u can do and I told u how.
Wat ur asking now is to change a player on ur myplayer.cmg roster.Of course the change wont apply to ur myplayer.cmg roster if u changed values on the default.roster.Y?Because u haven't started a new myplayer using the roster that has the values changed.

***If u changed a player via ur default roster don't expect him to be on ur myplayer.cmg unless u start a new myplayer with the roster that has changed values.Duh!*****

To find a NBA player on ur Myplayer team then do this:

1.First find that specific nba player via ur default.roster. now copy only the 20 bytes aka player skin.

2.Go to ur Myplayer.cmg and press ctrl+f.When the search option pops up enter the 20 bytes.Mak sure ur searching using hex value pls.

3.Then watch as it finds that specific NBA player 20 bytes(player skin) on ur myplayer.cmg

4.Make sure u have the data for the person u want ur scrub to be.DUH! Next make wateva changes u want.

So,EG:

1:If u have Shaq on ur my player team and u want him to be Blake Griffin then find Shaq on the default.roster copy shaq 20 bytes

2.go to ur myplayer.cmg press ctrl+f.Now enter Shaq 20 bytes to find him on ur myplayer.cmg

3.when u find shaq just change his data to Blake Griffin data and boom ur done.Now Shaq is Blake Griffin on ur myplayer.cmg



Remember that all player data is 260 bytes (Hex value)

Lol since everyone is asking questions, my Melo made it to the Thunder, is there any way I can get him to the Knicks?..... And when you start up your mp using recent roster updates, your shoe editor doesn't read the colors AND the hex edit doesn't work at all..... at least for me it doesn't

It's all good though, the only thing I really need to know now is how to get this Melo My Player, which is badass, to be part of one of my more recent downloaded rosters instead of, I believe anyway, the default one it came with...

Also tonight or tomorrow im going to add a second method of making NBA myplayer .It will be on the 1st page of this thread under the 1st tut.it might help people who are having a hard time or need a easier TUT that makes sure u don't mess up
