    Re: Sim-Style Gameplay Rosters

FYI: I just figured out that the Coach Profiles do actually come with the roster file that is downloaded from 2KShare. The only changes you will need to make are to the Defensive Pressure for each team from the spreadsheet.

I'm hoping to get another release out to 2KShare by the end of the week to fix some of the minor issues that I've seen since the weekend and to include the updated Coach Profiles so you guys won't have to do any more tweaking. Stay tuned.

Wow! Big time compliments if the hex genius himself, Paul Pierce, is offering his services.

            Definitely trumps my offer, haha!!

The main thing that needs to be done with the hex is to take the colors KG (the poster) used on his roster last year and put them on this roster. KG did an amazing job and spent countless hours finding the right colors and it looked amazing in game. He had all the right shades and everything.

That'd be where I would start.

Thanks! If you're open to helping then the arenas, courts, colors, accessory colors, etc. are the areas that I'm not going to touch but would love for the community to help with.

How long does it take for that kind of editing? I'd gladly just sit on the rosters for a week and let you guys hex edit while I worked things like building the custom scales for shot tendencies, touches, and potential ratings.

It should only work for 360. It will the roster save that is re-hashed/re-signed under a fake profile.

Hi, thanks for your work. I've just downloaded your roaster and started an asso with the lakers. At the start of the asso mode when you have to assign roles to players i see that: Fisher isn't a starter, Odom and Gasol are bother starters at PF, Brown is a starter at SG, Artest is 6th man and that Blake isn't in the rotation. What happend there?

I have no idea what's going on there.

The depth chart for the Lakers in these rosters has Fisher, Bryant, Artest, Gasol, and Bynum as starters. Blake is on the bench.

Can you re-load and try again? I wonder if Association mode changes these things.

I have re tryed and it did it again.

It's fine when I do a quick exhibition game though. Not a big deal but it's still wierd.

e/ could be a big deal if the CPU controlled teams get messed up too.

The CPU does change this. I tried to keep Tony Allen as a Starter in the default rosters and the CPU kept putting him as a bench player.

I haven't tried an Association yet, but last year the rotations for all teams were redone/reset once you started an Association.

One of the main issues that I'm seeing so far is a tendency to over-dribble by guards. A lot of combinations of spins, crossovers, hesitation moves, etc. for no apparent reason. This is due to the Simple Drive slider being too low for most guards and the Dribble Penetration move sliders being way too high. I'll work to address this in the second release.

If you see any players in particular that have an obvious flaw or strange pattern during gameplay, then post it here so I can evaluate their tendencies.
nice yeah i'm not seeing the pass out of a shot as much as last year but a lot of star PGs are complacent or too aggressive. i tested chris paul out last night for example. he doesn't take enough shots and isn't really leading the offense. rondo on the other hand was taking a ton of shots. i'm not sure if this is the shot tendencies or touches but both are important. i didn't sim anything though to look at overall stats. these are just a few things to keep in mind when testing out your scales and making changes. another thing that's hard to balance is having to make changes to the OTHER guys on the team as well to help balance stats and how players play. i remember last year having to change up some other hornets player tendencies to paul on point.
