Yes, yes, yes and yes.

Those are actually 5 of the 6 freshmen I included (Chris Walker being the 6th). I used random.org to determine their schools (based on current interest). Parker is a Tar Heel, Noel and Randle are Kentucky Wildcats, and the Harrison Twins are headed to Texas. Chris Walker is an FSU Seminole.

Awesome, can't wait for this class!

Just wanted to drop by and say I'm loving your draft classes. Still in season 1, so I havent been able to use the 2013 ones yet, but I have them downloaded.

The 2012 ones are looking great. Quick question though. It has Quincy Acy projected as undrafted. I want him in my association, I think he is a great fit for my team. So my question is if he doesnt get drafted is he placed as a free agent, or does he just disappear?

Haha, drafting a 7 footer (and still growing?) with a mid range game would be awesome, I just don't trust myself to accurately project how kids that young will develop down the road. If I get around to doing some fictional classes, I'll gladly take suggestions on different types of players to include, but to realistically and accurately project what a 2015, 16 or 17 NBA draft might look like just isn't feasible.

I mean look at Anthony Davis. Two years ago the kid was a 6'3" guard on no one's college radar. Fast forward to now and he's a 6'10" big man and guaranteed to go first overall in next year's draft.

And at the opposite end of that spectrum, look at Derrick Caracter. In middle school he was hyped as the next Shaq. And while he did go on to have a somewhat successful college career, he was barely picked in the draft and is nothing more than a bench warmer now.

There are just too many variables at play for me to do draft classes beyond 2014. Not to mention the scouting reports become fewer and far between as you begin to look at younger and younger players.

He'll become a free agent, and you can probably sign him for the league minimum.

I will say that the difference between the projected 2nd round guys and projected undrafted guys is minimal. It's usually based on potential and age. Taking Acy in the 2nd round wouldn't be a bad pick. His skills are more developed than some of the other guys available in round 2, it's just that at his age he isn't likely to progress much more.

Yeah I gotcha. The reason I ask though is because if I can get him via free agency then I'm not gonna use a pick on him. I'll use my 2nd rounder on someone else and just snag Acy as a rookie free agent.

Yes to Noel, no to Niang. Niang would be in the 2015 class if I decide to do one.

In that case, I hope you do decide to make a 2015 class! I grew up with Niang, same school, same neighborhood and everything. He ends up going to a prep school and to this day, I still cannot believe someone from my small hometown is top 100 in the country for his class.

I made drastic speed edits across the board to match the scale bedwardsroy used for his roster. Also lowered touches tendencies across the board to match his scale. The rest of the edits were mainly shot tendency and hotspot edits. I also toned down some 3 point ratings to match his scale. If you're using his roster, I highly recommend downloading this latest version of the 2013 class to have the best association experience.

Edit: I also changed a lot of potentials.
