That may be the problem. What country did you purchase your game in?

I think the pb is cause by the folder (from the usb card).

Because after the copy, in "utilitary save data" it's create two folders !!!

The Ps3 folder could be copying in the same folder and that not the case !!

That right there is the problem. If you purchased the game outside of the United States and Canada, it's not going to work with your system.

What you can do though is head to this thread:

          http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-complete.html

and those rosters should work great for you.

                That post wasn't for you.

Grab your game case and look on the side. Near the bottom it'll have something like BLUS or BLES, what does it say? And just to make sure, we are talking about NBA 2K11 right, not NBA 2K12?

Try doing the updated version that I just did.

You said it still shows up as Auto-Save On when you reset the game. You have to make sure you save both your settings and your profile. I'm not positive which one it is but save them both and you shouldn't have the problem.

I know you're saying you're doing everything, but I'm going to make you a little checklist just to make sure.

                      1. Turn on the game and save both your settings and profile with Auto Save Off.

                      2. Make sure you unzip the download and are now looking at:
                      * a PS3 folder
                      * a SAVEDATA folder inside of the PS3 folder
                      * a BLUS30574-ROS-1-BB10011807 folder inside of the SAVEDATA
                      * ICON0, PARAM.PFD, PARAM.SFO and USERDATA files inside of that BLUS folder.

                      3. Now move the PS3 folder to you harddrive and copy the NBA 2K11 roster onto the PS3

                      4. Try loading it again in-game

then i copy that into my usb

then i plug my usb into my ps3

then i go to save data utility
and go to my usb .

                        then i copy the file

after that i run the game

then i go to load and the file is not there

I think the game is loading the living roster whenever you boot up the game. I had to turn off auto save/living rosters/etc a few times before the game finally stopped downloading the auto/living rosters. This kept happening even though I had clearly turned the options off.

Once I was able to get the new roster loaded, I made a few changes and went ahead and started a new association before I rebooted the system. I decided it was better to make the changes to the rosters/contracts inside the association than to risk losing the rosters again.

                          I hope this helps....

I'm through the first season in my association and the rosters played great. Thanks again, bigbob!

I really have no where else to go with this furust. I've never had that problem before except the game "overwriting" my save files. If you log off, go to your PS3 SaveData and to where it says NBA 2K11, can you highlight the file and it pops up saying "NBA 2K12"?

Hey Big Bob. I followed this thread and have to say nice work. I was going to get 2k12 for PS3 but decided it wasn't worth it and kept 2k11 on my 360. I have been working on a roster for myself and have gotten it mostly done. I have trouble with rookies appearances and ratings though. Do you have any tips? Also I was wondering where you got your rotation information from. Thanks.

Appearance wise, I just got the just of what the rookies looked like for the ones that I created. Hair style, beard etc.

Whenever it came to the ratings I was using, I used multiple websites to see what they were good at and what they weren't good at, mixed that in with their stats. Specifically http://www.nbadraft.net/2011-actual-draft and http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft/results/players.

For my rotations, I just used ESPN. I'd sort teams by their minutes played and took the 7 players with the most minutes after the starters and filled them in the best I could. If I ran out of minutes before I got to the 12th player (as long as they had a 12th player that had minutes), I'd go back and take a minute from each player that was not starting and try and even it out the best I could. Say someone had 10 minutes played and 5 minutes played.. if I needed to, I'd take 2-3 minutes from the 10 minute player and give the 12th player 2-3 minutes just so he'd get some playing time.
