Hey community,

I know that vtcrb is going hard at trying to get the 2012 Draft Class done and put out so I felt that I give my partner a hand and lighten some of the load because I know how hard the guy works at editing this stuff. Now I am NOT an expert when it comes to ratings, I have never said I was and have never tried to be someone who had a clue to how to rate, but my partner in roster editing gave me a brief tutorial awhile back with ratings and I took good notes so I have tried it out on our 2 additions to the roster, Greg Smith & Andre Emmett. I will post them both in a few hours just as soon as I am done doing my daily NBA research of all the newswires and scoops of the day.

Lin is a hard guy to rate. He is mainly an offensive player. So his defensive and rebounding keep him from having a monster rating. I agree he has been playing his butt off, BUT I have a feeling once Amare and Melo return Lin will not have the ball or be taking many shots. I hope I am wrong but I doubt it, Amare and Melo are Willing to share the ball.

Sorry to bring this up but you gotta watch this kid and look at his stat line with Amare' back. His points drop, but running the team as a point guard. He looks good, and to hear about how 2 years ago he tore up John Wall in the Summer League... Sorry it was a bit off topic, but I am glad you gave me some of increases in the right spots.

Leadership as a PG can never be overlooked. But we'll see how he does against CHAR and DAL

Not gonna get it out tonight. I have 69 Prospects done so ONLY 11 left. Hope to get it done for you guys tomorrow. Wish I could have got it out tonight but my eyes arent cooperating. LOL

question: i dl'd this roster and i really like it, played an exhibiton game and everything was fine. played 2 games in association mode and everything was good and then made a few trades and signed kyle singler from free agency and when i went to play my next game all rookies had black arms. jan vesley from the wizards, kyrie irving from the cavs, etc..

did anybody else have this problem? i havent went to play another game yet because my girlfriend was tired of watching me play basketball, so it could be just a glitch..

You're ok in my book. I personally would rather you take your time. Best things I've learned take time and don't come when you want them. Besides you do have a life and family. That should come first.

1- how did after 2 games Kyle Irving get into FA?
That may be a prelude to an issue there.

2- Try restarting. Also Black arms are generally when the Patch/Title Update is not applied if I'm correct?

3 Try restarting and loading the roster (NOT The Association file) and see if there are black arms. If so then it maybe something wrong with the association.

There are so many glitches in this game. I recommend restarting you Xbox and see if that clears it up. Do you have the DLC?

VT or Eagles... I do have a question? I am still tweaking the sliders, since my game scores and sims are high as well as the FG%. I just played a game with Memphis vs Magic. Also Simmed a game. Sim results below, but very close to previous played games with various teams

1st Game CPUvs CPU(Simmed-Watched)
Memphis: Gay 14-22, Gasol 8-10, Randolph 10-13, Conley 8-12, Mayo 5-8, Speights 5-6, 3 others 2-3

2nd Game Played USERvsCPU
Magic: Anderson 14-19, Richardson 8-11, Howard 8-12, Nelson 4-6, Redick 5-11, Turkolu 7-10, D. Orton 5-5, Duhon 3-4, Davis 3-6.

I took a lot of jumpers, since the simmed game did the same. They took a lot of jumpers. I made the changes from the other post you posted to me for defense. Still shooting a high % and also, CPUvsCPU they took alot of jumpers and hit alot. I only posted one side, but the other side was just as hot.

Any personal changes you made to the sliders would be helpful for me to begin understanding what combination of slider I need to tweak. I know sliders sometimes need to tweek multiple things at the same time. Trying to get more of real feel. Alot of games are with FG% over 50% both simmed and played

Do you have the patch.. It's the latest Title Update. And these rosters should be used with the DLC as posted on the front page. Also forgot something.. Do you go online? I had an issue like that and I got the latest online.dat file. Trust me it took away my black arms.

I have a small question, not exactly related to THIS roster.

I saw on other thread the new online data file. Mine was from the first official 2k roster with some rookies.

What will change if I download and apply the new online data? from 02/15?

also, do I have to update the living roster and the nba today file too?
