Looking at Moultrie's ratings, isn't a 78 block a bit high for someone who only averages .8 bpg?

With his length an jumping ability all it takes is right coach and it will be 1.5 Blk minimum for him. He just isnt made to play D right now. If you feel it is too High I apologize, just lower to whatever you feel.

Re: 2k12 Community Roster 2012 Draft Class

Quick question for anyone who knows. I noticed in 2K11, that computer teams basically drafted by potential rating first over anything else. Anytime I went through testing a draft, it never failed that the draft order was just that (highest potential ---> lowest potential). There were a couple of minor blips in that, but that's how it always worked out despite OVR rating, etc.

Does this year's game do the same and is that something you guys worked through to get the POTENTIAL draft order somewhat accurate?

        Just curious. Thanks

I have yet to figure out the Randomness of the Draft Engine. It seems to be a Combination of Overall and Potential this year. I control all 30 teams in my association so that teams draft players they Need, instead of Draft a PG when they already have a great one.

I lowered him but that logic is flawed. You could say that for anybody.

I dont really watch CHoops much. I will start an Association with Suns. What PG should I target that will be in the top 10-15 range that has 3pt ability, athleticism, and average to good defense.

Re: 2k12 Community Roster 2012 Draft Class

Very nice draft class, probably the most in depth & accurate I've seen for 2k12.

One small suggestion, I would add Illinois C Meyers Leonard, as he's projected as a top 20 pick by many sources (NBA Draft express & NBA Draft net). I would remove PG Brandon Woods (not even really a PG, plays SG for MSU is not an NBA prospect).

Also you see to have a majority of the PG's with SG listed as their secondary positions, when in fact that really isn't the case. Do you really ever envision Kendall Marshall being a viable NBA SG? Same goes for Tyshawn Taylor and a few others.

Andre Drummond's potential should probably be raised a bit, he may be raw now but he truly is a potential game changer at in the post. He's shooting FT's at a low 30% clip this year, so that should be adjusted accordingly to reflect his poor ability at the line.

Sullinger is a bit overrated IMO, he should be less of a dominating threat on the offensive end, I envision him as a 12-14PPG 7 Reb type of guy, not really the number 1 overall prospect.

Austin Rivers could use a downgrading in his 3PT rating. He is able to knock down the 3 but he is a pure streak shooter at this point who's just not afraid to launch at any moment.

Draymond Green's physical ratings seemed a bit high, he's not really the most athletic SF, he relies more on strength & guile to score rather than speed/agility/quickness. He could also use a passing rating of 60-65 (not sure how that fits with the base roster, but he's a true Point Forward who able to direct an offense). He's not really going to be a scorer in the NBA IMO, but he can be a good guy off the bench who provides a nice spark.

Dee Bost looked like the real deal against UK last night, he looked very athletic & capable of leading an offense IMO.

Those are just some of my thoughts, use them or ignore them.

First off let me thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it. I know ALOT of people dont like the work critiqued BUT that is the only way to improve. Meyers Leonard is in the 2013 Draft Class, that is why i omitted him from this Class. Since I have all 80 prospects done and only 60 get drafted I just felt he would strengthen the 2013 Class.

After reading the comment about Green I think you DLd the wrong Draft Class. He is a 65 passer rating in the Updated Draft Class. Be sure to load the last Draft Class under my Gamertag

The reason for secondary positions of PG's is lets say they get drafted to a team with a log jam at PG(which CPU likes to do). I still wanted them to be able to get on the court. Kinda like the Clippers with CP3, Chauncey(before injury) and Mo Williams.

Rivers Consistency rating will keep him as a Streak shooter for a couple years. Drummond is pretty high rating for Potential if you compare him to the other guys in the Class and my Roster. I am just not sold on him yet. Sullinger is vastly underrated in my opinion by people. I think he is going to be an 15ppg-18ppg 8rpg-11rpg type of player in the Pros.

Kendall Marshall and Damian Lillard are the 2 most NBA ready PG. Myck Kabongo is the best long term PG in the Class.

Ok thanks for the clarification, that makes sense with the PG's, I didn't realize that the CPU draft logic was so bad lol.

Regarding Meyers Leonard; I see the dilemma there, but right now it appears that he's a solid prospect for the 2012 draft no? I guess nobody will know for sure until closer to the draft when he declares or not.

I will check Green's ratings again, I swore he was around a 55-60 passer in the class I dl'ed. What about his physical ratings?

And I guess Sullinger is up for debate, there are many differing views on the type of NBA player he ultimately becomes, and I can't argue against your points, he surely has the potential to be great (I just don't see it happening to the tune of 18PPG!).

Thanks for all your hard work & dedication to this awesome draft class! Cheers.

Go to the OS Trifecta Draft Class Thread and get the UPDATED 2012 and 2013 Draft Classes. I have the Offline links posted on the 1st Post of that thread.
