I thought this would be more of a individual attribute discussion instead just overall. Im betting 2k will have him at high 70s to low 80s though...they will give to the hype.

im giving him a 75,anything lower and it wouldn't be realistic to what we see on tv,sims of 2 seasons rated 75 he averaged 18ppg + 6 ast in season 1 and season 2 he averaged 15 ppg + 7 ast so i say thats about right.but when melo comes back im positive linsanity will come to an abrupt end.you'll see

You can get that same exact statline from him rated at a 67.

If you are truly gonna rate Lin block Overall Rating at the top of your screen. Then Edit each Attribute and Ability to his strengths and see what you get. Overall Rating skews so many people's views of Individual players. I wish 2k would take the Overall rating completely out of the game.

10 and 13 dimes tonight and didn't even play the fourth.

I have him at a 71.. he will steadily be going up if he continues this.. his potential is high obviously.

To all those who think he will fall off because of Carmelo, think again.. i knew Lin was the real deal after his first game. If anyone's numbers are going to suffer it will be Carmelo's as the entire offense runs through Lin now. He sets the tempo which means he dictates the flow of the offense. Carmelo I think will be a lot more humble, if you've seen any of his words "i'm just going to give him the ball and space out" or his actions on the sideline sitting next to Lin then you will see what i'm talking about. EVERYONE is a fan of this guy right now, it's really hard not to be unless you are hating.

Honestly right now I think the Knicks are one of the most formidable teams in the NBA due to how well they are playing TEAM basketball. If Carmelo doesn't keep up he will be phased out. It's that simple. When teams taste victories the way the Knicks have lately they aren't going to want to revert.

I'm not saying get crazy with the ratings yet on Lin.. but the proof will be in the pudding. He singlehandedly has made me care about the NBA again for the first time in a long time due to his team-first mentality... something not only the Knicks, but the NBA, has lacked for a long time. Pretty impressive..

I'm using vtcrb sliders too, and I got him to 71 also. I did exactly what vtcrb said.. I didn't look a the overall rating, I just adjusted the individual skills and stuff... I even lowered some.. like 3pt, speed and quickness..

No he shouldnt be a 68 but alot of the reason he's doing good because of the offense. mike dantoni does not like athletic point guards he like smarts pg's thats why felton, marbury, and douglas didnt last. He like's smart pg's like Lin, Nash and Kidd. not saying thier not athletic but they have brains too.

Felton was perfect for the Knicks system. They should not have traded him. He is horrible with the blazers.

Felton was okay he didn t have the brains to stay thats why he was traded. And thats why he is on the verge of losing his job now plus he's fat for a point guard.

Wow sound like you was describing Khalid El-Amin there for a second lol. Felton was putting up career numbers in D'Antoni's system (17pts & 9assists a game) when he was with the Knicks so he has the brains. Also Felton was turning the ball over at a high rate just like Lin is doing now. I believed its just the high tempo offense that D'Antoni has his point guards running that's probably causing most of the turnovers.

I think a 75 rating is a little high. 2k has been watching too much ESPN, they should have waited a couple weeks before giving him that much of a bump. They need to give Cousins(71) and Monroe(73) a bump who have been dominating centers not named Howard or Bynum on a consistent level all season.
