I have an issue with my roster when it hits association mode:

I sim a season, mainly the first year, every player on the Mavericks has MVP caliber stats. The first time I noticed it was because Jason Terry won MVP, averaging 40 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Then it was Dirk with the same exact stat line the next season, so I did it a third time and looked at the Mavericks players' stats, and they had all played well over 100 games that season somehow and were all averaging at least 20 points or so.

Is there a reason this is happening and if so, what can I do to fix this? It is only the Mavs that this happens to.

Quick answer:

ive tried changing the player type of all the caps to 4 and tried deleting players off the file as well as numerous other things. any ideas about what i can do to load more created teams?

CAP slot numbers are hardcoded. So, any other PlType there, then "Non-Existing CAP/Empty CAP slot" (i don't remember the number) will result into the game supposing the slot being occupied.

after I made all of my edits in reditor my roster crashes after the 1st association game.

what can cause this kind of crash? could edits of staff or chemistry result in this crash or do you have any other idea? hope you can help me...

I have not had any issue at all. The only thing i can think of is something that might be effected by hex editing before loading into REDitor. Maybe to many CAT or imported slots and CAP or exported player slots have been used up or too many added and removed this is a 2k bug. If not i have no idea sorry...

For the Elites/Stars Teams... if we change their team type to say All Star Teams doesnt it affect the game in any negative way?

Same thing with editing the home/away and black and white teams 600-603... I notice under team type they are special tutorial teams. Like I said I'm just wondering if its a bad idea to edit them... does editing them mess up the game in any way...

1. no 2. yes it will cause crashed leave those alone regarding team type.

im trying to load an exported team on my roster but get a popup saying "not enough created player slots exist, multiple empty slots are required to import this file"

Look at the file in REDitor look to see if you have teams that were cat or exported team that have been delted but this show up in the file. If you do then you still have slots still being used for those players in the file. Look at all CAT /exported players that are assign to a team and copy and paste from a untoched roster to replace this. That should do the trick... if not pm me...

Folks, i have the 97-98 season completed with all players, ratings, coaches , courts and arenas etcc......ready to go , but i have some minor issues with it,if anyone could help me figure out , then i can publish the roster as soon as possible, it regards 2 things when i try to start an association or season mode, the game would freeze, same thing happens when i pplay with a certain team,other than that everything works just fine, has anyone an idea what might cause the issue? i have done all the edits with the rediitor, if someone has an idea either pm me so i can send the file, or let me know other suggestions, this roster has to be released ...it s really a good one,thanks guys...

i have no idea what do you do editing wise REd and hex did at caps , cat / exported did you add remove.

If you hide too many free agents and start an association will that cause it to crash after the first day? Just spent all day working on a roster I can quick play but freezes during association

Hok any word on the ability to reverse engineer art files? I remember awhile back you said you could get the art from the game, but it was difficult reintegrating edited art. Any hope for being able to inject art files back into 2k12?

This is probably a beginner question, but what would be the most efficient way to delete players on a roster with REditor? I am going to use someone else's roster as a base for mine but needed to clear out a lot of space. Signing players to teams so I can release and delete is tedious and time consuming. Is there a quick and safe way to do this with the REditor? Thanks!

no i havent tried it again since like the end of Feb , been busy with other stuff. And have not been able to recruit any help on it. Since it would have to be a tool. And based on all the work i have put into it . I would probley charge more then what vlad is for REDitor. I might look at it during the summer again..

Once Vlad emails me my Reg Key for Devloper Package, will i be able to put the sonics arena/jersey/logo on the kings team? also will i be able to put the hidden sonics jerseys as the kings alternates?

i have the $13 one that says it lets me edit jerseys and all that but it doesnt let me click the numbers and change them like it does for the players tab. it says its registered and everything. someone pls help

Yea u might not see anything till tommorrow. I leaves in Russia, I heard it about an 8 hr different from there to east coast time... just have wait for him or hokupguy to pop in.

Still getting that funny Stats glitch. But the weird thing is, it only happens the 1st year in association mode with only these 4 players:

Jason Kidd

Dirk Nowitzki

Shawn Marion

Delonte West


They all play over 127 games and average ridiculous amount of points. Is there a way around this or is this the actual stats glitch?

I wonder b/c it only happens once with these 4 players.

bigdaddie is right , just be patient he should get back to you soon... just try to shut it down and restart and see that your lic's are there if not you will just have to wait for Vlad to contact you. He usally good about getting back to people on the weekend..
