Please help. Trying to edit an association file. I have all the licenses. I edit the file, save it, load it on my Xbox, but then it makes my Xbox freeze when I try to load it in game. It doesn't matter if I just change a player to a different roster or edit jerseys, it freezes. Can anyone assist?

1. Did you 'rehash and resign' the file, prior to inserting it back on your USB drive?

If so,

2. Did you change the roster file name in Reditor, via mouse-right click->rename, or any other method other than renaming on the console?

In my experience, those activities will cause the Xbox to freeze. Also I tried to insert a file from CPU into USB, with a filename which was already preset on the USB and when I accidentally chose "not to replace" the CPU made a #2 of that file but when i deleted the #2, the original file was then corrupted as well, causing freezing.

Perhaps it is renaming the file that is causing the problem. I am definitely rehashing and resigning. I will try it out.

Has anybody tried editing playbooks with REDitor yet? I can add and change plays (even from classic teams), but have been unable to rename a default playbook or create a new one. Any thoughts on this?

Alright I made sure I didn't change the name of the file. I am still getting freezing when I try to open it.

This is very frustrating. All I want to do is make the trade in an association file of Bynum and Howard. It can't be done accurately in the game so I need to do it in Reditor.

If you are doing the trade in the Reditor both team IDs have to be the same otherwise it will freeze.

I'm an idiot. All of my problems were caused by not using Horizon. I have always used Modio with no problems but apparently it doesn't work well with NBA 2k franchise files.

But after using it, I have no clue why I haven't been using Horizon all along.

Thanks for all the help everyone. Maybe this can save someone else a bunch of time by making the switch to Horizon.

Can i add players to teams which already has 15 players? If it can, how could i do that. I tried one but the player does not appear in the roster as well as in the fa pool, where he was first placed? Another problem i encountered is that after putting the proper teamid to players i cannot anymore find them. They are not in the fapool either. What am i doin wrong? Thanks!

If you want to create a new playbook just clone and change the In Game ID to the GID the team has that you want the playbook to be assigned to. I do believe assigning two playbooks to a team will cause crashing issues.

I tried this with the Sixers..I renamed their Playbook which is ID #0. But when I go into the game it still says its the Sixers Playbook. I also tried cloning a Playbook, but it doesn't show up on the list in the game. I must be missing something because it seems like it would be pretty straightforward.

Can I make it so there is no arena logo and edit the arena colors ?
Reason why I want to make all my NCAA teams have the bonus Kings team arena so I have the college three point line (I know it won't count as a three) .

Darn , wait then how does Paul Pierce and all those guys who edit out the BK nets arena and Hokupguy's roster has no logo's on any of his roster ..
Can I at least remove the logo ??
