The one's I am referring to are the ASA ID and the audio momentums. Looking through rosters in Reditor, I can't seem to find out how they are determined.

The ASA number is similar to GiD in my mind. If you have 2 guys with duplicate ASAs they will have duplicate stats. According to Vlad you can just assign numbers above 60000 if you want. If you copy a player from another roster, make sure you either assign the same ASA as the one replaced, or give the other one a number no one else has. Also make sure you use different headshape value or guys will have the same face. Not sure about momentums....

Quick question about Reditor. Hopefully people can understand what I'm saying...

This is a definite deal breaker. Does Reditor let you to edit player tendencies allowing you to never miss a shot? Kind of like game sliders for a particular player.
Let me explain. I want Larry Bird's three point shot to go in 85-90% of the time no matter what. Unfortunately, even though his 3 point shot and tendency ratings are high, he misses a lot. I even maxed out 3 point tendencies and 3 point attribute but he still misses more than I want him to miss.

Buying Reditor RIGHT NOWWW if it allows me to do this.

I guess you could go to 255 with his rating but why would you do that?

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)

Am I missing something here? Wouldn't raising his tendency just make him take more threes, but not make more?

Also- I just want to be clear on something. If you want to add a custom CAT jersey to an existing team then you need to make a CAT and just copy the CAT's uniform info over the existing team's info, right? If so, what happens if you go back and delete the created team? I suppose it has no affect on the existing team since it's just lines of code that tell the game what textures, colors, etc. to use.

Also, to delete a created team through reditor can you just copy/paste an unused slot over an existing slot?

Sorry if this is obvious but I just want to be clear about how this works.

Edit: Also, I noticed that the logo ID for home and away uniforms is identical. Yes, most teams have their nickname on the home jersey and their city on the away jersey. Is the name on the front of the jersey actually embedded in the texture file, and not the logo? If so, what is the logo ID actually for?

The reason I ask is because i am interested in making a Seattle Kings jersey. I want to basically use the Kings jersey but with "Seattle" written on the front of the away jersey instead of Sacramento.

Also, I noticed that in hookupguy's blog it says that logo ID 511 is the Sonics retro...but logo ID 562 is the 95-96 Sonics. I was hoping that 511 is the 2001 jersey...does anybody know if this is the case? I haven't had a chance yet to check myself.

The jersey textures are preset and cannot be edited with REDitor. I am not sure why the logo ID is on there, that is a good question. To delete a created team right click and mark as deleted. When you save and reload they will not be there. I THINK the CAT jersey would still be there regardless because jerseys are separate records tied to the team by the GID. The Retro sonics logo is the logo for 2001 and their jerseys are on there. Check Hokup's list in his blog or the notes from the tutorials for the actual code. Wish they had the 80's jersey though.

I was wondering, before I buy REditor, do you have to buy REDitor for 2k13 when it comes out, after buying it for 2k12? I'm confuse on this.

                      short answer: yes

long answer: yes.........but the 2k12 reditor wasn't released until this past January

reason: the decoding of file architecture and the programming of a utility capable of presenting those files in an orderly fashion, which can easily be edited, is a time consuming process.

Vlad starts on the pc set 1st. And hokupguy starts to decode the 360. Then meet both codings and then you get the 360 set. This yr we got reditor for 360 in march last yr it was july. Let's hope we can get early.

Can someone just confirm that I can have multiple teams sharing the same gid if I don't mind them sharing the same jerseys? It won't cause a freeze. I just play quick games.
