Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
Not to be inconsiderate, but i don't feel like devoting the time to complete that. Moreover your request is rather vague, in that you have not specified which or how many teams you want. Also, there is an existing project here:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...e-reditor.html
But to be candid, I discourage your asking for a favor of this sort. REditor is a powerful utility, which is quite inexpensive at the price of $5-$35 (USD).
I am of the opinion that the more people who buy REditor, the better--and I do not have a financial stake in the program. Ideally, the more people who purchase the REditor, the better the possibility that 2K Sports would cater to the in-depth roster editing niche that exists. In response, 2K could produce a Roster Editor similar to REditor which would be available upon or shortly following release of each new game; at a cost similar to REditor. Then, we the fans who are interested, could begin in-depth edits instead of people like VladZola, Hokupguy and others enduring the painstaking process of decoding game files.
Perhaps, 2K could even educate users to the interactions of ratings, tendencies, etc., in a user-manual included with the utility. However, I can understand several reasons why a game developer would not want to release such a proprietary utility. From a profit-generation standpoint, the tedious activities of roster makers, keeps people interested in the game; clamoring for new rosters and game play, even in the weeks leading up to the release of a new installment.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
for the folks who dont have the REDitor or cant afford it or cant use it because they have a mac with MS boot camp or any other reason. PLEASE stop with asking for someone to do this in a thread or starting a thread asking for this.
Just PM some one to help , it kinda class less to do this all the time. If something is not SELLING companies stop making it. Because it doesn't become worth there time. This can also be true for people that make something.
It's cool if your doing roster and you want to team up with some who has reditor and know the insides and out of it. But just stop with the posting in threads or starting threads regarding this.
Not trying to sound like an ***, just trying me make sure another REDitor comes next for the 360 and 2k13.

Yes, I could copy that roster and name the teams ncaa names (and assign logos), but no i will not do that.

- a description of what CAN and what CAN NOT be accomplished in REditor--such as adding cyber-faces, new jerseys/logos, editing myplayer monies, etc. because inquiries of this sort are numerous,
- a brief instructional post for each of a number of essential processes such as jersey reassignment and adjustments, arena and logo alteration, the basic architecture of the utility and files such as what a GID represents, how the jerseys are assigned, etc.,
- a list of known edit-types which result in glitches or freezing when loaded into the game, e.g. duplicate GID, duplicate audio_M (?, field which the game associates with player statistics)
- perhaps a list of Operation Sports users who are OPEN and WILLING to collaboration and providing aid to those incapable of using REditor

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
on a side note, are you engineering a roster for your own, personal enjoyment or to simply share with others?
I know there is a project bt its nowhere near done and most ppl won't pick up 2K12 again if 2K13 is good enough plus if I had the money I would buy reditor and do it myself bt as I've recently told everyone that gave me that suggestion I am 14 with no income or hope of the matter of gaining even 5$ let alone 35$ so that's why I've been pleading with the reditor ppl that could help me bt sadly won't
Again, it may be of some assistance to inform any potential help as to what universities you want included. Even more helpful would be to include a link for CSV format or excel file with team names and location typed in the format I previously indicated in the other NCAA post.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***
