@beast10
6. find the GID of the team you want to assign the jersey to
7. open jersey tab and find the GID of the team you want to assign a jersey to
8. type in the desired jersey texture in the appropriate field--the first column. (use hok's hidden jersey files to find the code for CAT)
9. be sure that the jersey name (it is a 8-digit alphanumeric code in the field next to GID, i believe) is for 'current'. Check the guide for the correct code for 'current' jersey.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

Still trying to figure out the Audio IDs...I noticed in the names tab for first names there is an Audio ID number, but I don't see where that is entered in the players tab...
The problem I am having is that I misguidedly assigned the same audio ID for the same last names, which inadvertently led to every player with the name Johnson being called Magic Johnson...So how do you get the game to call out the correct first name in gameplay if the first name is in fact in the database? Do we assign 0 as the Audio ID? Or -1? I know Vlad and Hokup are pretty busy these days, but if anyone has a clue please let me know...
Thanks!Comment

Would love to read Vlads say on this: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...hash-tool.html
I know somethings that had been said before, but hope is the last thing to die ... so, given the recent posting of that thread, would appreciate Vlads thoughts on the prospect of us (PS3) not been screwed much longer. :wink:Comment

Thus, assigning 778 to players with the last name Johnson, "Magic Johnson" is heard. Though, in the default roster 778 is unassigned in the AudioID_M column, 778 is also the PortID/CFID for Magic Johnson on the '87 Lakers. Since many other players have identical PortID/CFID/AudioID_M numbers, I would assume that 778 is a Magic Johnson audio.
Alternatively, I understand the names in first and last name tabs to be text strings, each string corresponds to a hardcoded audio file for solely that name. If the text of a player's name is identical to the text in the first/last names tab, then in theory, the name should be heard from PA or broadcaster. However, you and I both have encountered many instances where this is not the case; and a solution has yet to be identified.
This is what I was saying for Alex Hannum. By changing the text of 'Hanga' in the last names column 'Hannum', the PA will now say "Alex Hanga" and in the background, when not the primary focus, Hanga sounds similar to Hannum, and is preferable to "ABC".
The other thing I've been trying, is if AudioIDs can be interchanged between the first and last name tabs. For instance, 'Paige' isn't listed in the first name database, but 'Page' is present in the last name tab. If Paige is typed over a field and the ID# for 'Page' is typed in the appropriate field, will the game read it?***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
can anyone confirm if the Suns Burst Jerseys (Barkley Era) and the early 90s Sonics Jersey are hidden jerseys in NBA2K13???Comment

As i understand it, the AudioID_M in the player tab is a link to a hard coded audio file with stories, broadcast audio, PA audio, and such for the player originally assigned that ID.
Thus, assigning 778 to players with the last name Johnson, "Magic Johnson" is heard. Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
Ok..I got that now, but what about the Audio ID numbers for first names? They are in the 5000's but nowhere in the players tab is there a place for that. Also, if you create a player with names in the database, it will be 0. Does this mean I should just assign 0 to every player without a true audio ID?
Well. 0 is assigned to Anthony Carter. I have -1 on all my ABA players, but the PA only says the names of a few. I'ma try something quickly. By default, all the CAP slots are a 5, i'ma see what happens when I create a new player in the game.***1971-72 ABA Roster 2K12 360***

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
A new version has been released.
It mostly focuses on MLB 2K12 files for PC, though it includes several improvements in other areas as well.
As for NBA 2K13 - i'll set up a special blog this weekend, so you'll be able to follow my progress.
PS: The prices for NBA 2K12 Tables were lowered.Last edited by VladZolaJr; 10-17-2012, 12:09 PM.Comment

Re: REDitor II (NBA 2K12 edition)
My file has a HUGE problem..
Everything in the players tab except for the Bio was shifted two places forward... So now all the cyberfaces are incorrect and some don't exist and as you can imagine everything is messed up basically... Do you know what caused this?Comment
