Oh you can go on only one cell at a time? I have the guru version and I wondered is it possible to copy and paste tendeicnes onto another roster?

No, what i mean is you can copy as many cells as you wish, but to paste correctly, select only one cell just before pasting.

Does anyone know a shortcut to quickly select an entire row in reditor instead of dragging it across?

Ctrl + click on the ID (the most left column) of a row. Or you can select any cell of a row, then press Home button (which is located near Delete button on your keyboard), and then hold Shift button and press End button.
PS: Why OS keeps glitching for the third day in a row?

when i try to copy one cell to another ,it doesn't work for me ,do I have to delete the cell I want the values to be copied ,I tought copy and paste would just overwrite the values ,what am I doing wrong?

Ok, so I have been playing around with REDitor for a couple days now and I have been testing alot of things in My Player mode. Most of the options to edit work GREAT but here are the few I have found that will not reflect in game.

On the player card: If you go into My Team and select Roster and then click to view your My Player Card Status it only shows "Starter". However, if you go into rotation or situationals it shows "Star". Not sure why it does not change it on the original player card.

When you edit the situationals on the My Player Team roster and put yourself down for Tall, Quick, Defense, 3-point and Free Throws it will not reflect in the game. But if you pull the file back up on REDitor it shows the correct edits, just does not reflect ingame.

Everything else seems to work like a charm.

I only ask that you add two categories to the my player edit. Skill Points and Money.

Ok question for you guys? I have the NBA2K12 360 Tables and I want to copy tendinces from a PC roster do I need the NBA2K12 PC Tables as well? Thanks vald/hokup for answering this.

are you changing player type to normal? None of the caps i made our download no longer have any nick names make cap nick 0 player type 4. That should work fine...


Yes you can change the team type to retro something. then put the yr in the yr field. I didnt do it that way seems to lose some of the intro and small other things. in the team name field put "1986-87 mavericks" ....

Still no luck with it I changed the Player type to 4 and Cap nickname to 0 and they still get called ABC I tried pretty much everything with no success

Can someone please tell me the most efficient way to copy players? I have been selecting everything for the player I want to copy, copy it, and paste it on a blank CAP slot, but the player seems to be keeping the logo and uniform of his previous team. Is there something I have to change to get this to work right? Thanks.

@hokupguy even tough the CFIDS are correct and the coach appears on the profiles, some are not present in the game, any advice?? thanks

Not sure why this is not working for you. All you need to do is hight hit copy and then paste. You may need to have some one on one time with Vlad i really cant help you there.

I am pretty sure you do , also FYI with "converting" from pc there ton of created mods for shoes and accs and cyber faces . Because i think i know what roster your trying to copy from.

make sure you update staff fields on the team tab...

Some things in game mode files (situationals, MP skill points and money) are saved apart from Roster, which is only editable via REDitor. These parts are in to-do plans, though long plans (summer)...

No, you only need a proper license to paste, not to copy.

You should also edit TeamID1 and TeamID2 fields of the copied player, so they respond his new team.
