Great job on the rosters so far, I'm glad I finally found a roster with rookies that aren't rated way too high. Some of the ratings are still a little strange, but you said you're still getting to that so all's well. Keep it upComment

Thanks! and I really do not know why that happened. I think it was the name glitch that has been happening. At one point in the process though Brandon Jennings became Brandon L so at least its not like that.Comment

i just used your roster and its awesome, however i just notice a few things...i saw kemba walker rated highest on the team, but so far he did not perform well on his rookie season.. also i saw that klieza is better defender than landry fields? because he has more defensive awarness?is that ok? so far thats what i saw because i used both teams in quick gameComment

I'll try to find some examples but right now im too lazy to turn on my ps3 and pop 2k12 in. There weren't many weird ratings but a few that I could change myself to what I think is more suitable. Ratings are really personal preference anyways so don't worry about itComment

That's what the Knicks would have to pay Lin if they matched the offer, the nubmbers are different for Houston its like 8mil a year or something I have to recheck the details."The more you sweat in practice , the less you bleed in battle."

Re: Completed 2K13 rosters for 2K12 project with chiliad's rookies (PS3))
Okay, I ended up going on :P, so here is a list of some ratings I don't quite agree with.
76ers- Thaddeus Young had a great season off the bench but does not quite deserve a rating of 78, which is pretty darn good, comparable to players like Boozer and David West, and better than Scola.
- Dorrell Wright (74) and Nick Young (75) are too high considering they've played worse than Turner who is rated a 72. Young is not as good as his numbers in Washington suggest as its a lot easier to put up inflated numbers on bad teams. Wright played very inconsistent last year and played nowhere near his level from two years ago.
Bobcats- Kemba Walker is probably not the best player on the team yet, although I don't think his overall rating is too too high. His shooting stats could be lowered because he shot disgusting percentages last year.
Bucks- Ersan Ilyasova should be higher than a 67 from three-point range, he hit 55-112 last year (45.5%) which is good for 3rd best percentage for players who has over 100 attempts from down town.
Bulls- no real suggestions
Cavaliers- Tristan Thompson a 74? not yet. Also his main position is labeled as C, but he plays PF mainly, he only played C when Varejao got injured.
Celtics- Avery Bradley's offensive stats seem a bit too high for me, as does his overall as a result of his 72 offense rating. To me, he has not quite proven himself offensively other than being able to use his speed/endurance to outrun opponents
Clippers- Caron Butler was significantly down in every category, not just in a per game basis but also on a per 36 min basis, so an 82 seems a bit high
Grizzlies- no real suggestions
Hawks- no real suggestions, although Devin Harris (76) and Lou Williams (78) may be rated a tad too high
Heat- no real suggestions
Hornets- Greivis Vasquez proved a little better than his rating of 66 last season, especially when he had to fill in for the injured Jack
Jazz- Gordon Hayward a 65 overall? He played a lot better than that. His rating should be more comparable to SG/SF's like Landry Fields (71) and Chandler Parsons (71) rather than Von Wafer (65)...
Kings- no real suggestions
Knicks- Amare Stoudemire should not have a 71 3PT rating as he rarely shoots threes and does not hit a ton of them (he shot 5-21 for 23.8%)
- 68 OVR is high for Steve Novak considering he almost exclusively was a three point specialist, not much versatility
Lakers- Pau Gasol's layup rating could be a tad higher than 65 since he plays very finesse and can actually drive to the hoop and lay it in much more often that a typical 7 footer.
Magic- no real suggestions
Mavericks- no real suggestions
Nets- Joe Johnson should be slightly higher than 66 at 3PT, probably a low 70
- MarShon Brooks has not played enough or been consistent enough for a 75 rating
Nuggets- Arron Afflalo rated at 70 is way too low for him, especially considering guys like OJ Mayo and MarShon Brooks are rated 75 whom are both worse players. Afflalo is not only one of the better defensive SG's in the game but also has greatly improved offensive abilities now. He averaged 15.2 ppg in 33.6 min/game.
Pacers- No real suggestions, although DJ Augustin (75) may be rated too high considering the Bobcats gave a lot of his minutes to Kemba Walker who hasn't even played better than him yet
Pistons- Greg Monroe is definitely the best player on the team although Stuckey is over-rated at 79, two points above Monroe. Stuckey has shown in bursts that he is capable of that rating but generally he's a mid 70 level PG/SG prone to absurd inconsistency.
Raptors- Andrea Bargnani is once again underrated. On every roster he seems to underrated. He's a 74 right now, but he's averaged about 20 ppg for two straight seasons and is one of the most dynamic 7 footers in the league. His offensive capabilities are elite, so his rating should reflect that (despite the fact his rebounding is still very sub-par for someone of his size).
Rockets- no real suggestions
Spurs
- no real suggestions
Suns- Goran Dragic should be rated higher than 70 after the monster season he had last year after Lowry went down. He was getting around 20ppg and 8 assists as a starter.
Thunder- Serge Ibaka is not well-rounded enough to earn his 79 rating. He should still be rated mid to low 70s because he's only truly proven himself as a defensive presence and athletic rebounder. But higher rating than Tyson Chandler? Not a chance.
Timberwolves- no real suggestions, although Derrick Williams (74) only played 21.5 min/game and did not show enough to be considered more than a 68-72.
Trail Blazers- JJ Hickson as a 77 seems too high. He played well with the Blazers but he only had 19 games with them and before that (with the Kings and Cavaliers) he was always rated around a 70.
Warriors- Stephen Curry definitely has the potential to be rated 82 if not higher but he's injury prone as all hell and probably shouldn't be rated higher than a guy like Brandon Jennings who has averaged more points and assists than him over the past two seasons combined (he is also a mediocre defender not deserving of 82 DEF rating)
Wizards- Emeka Okafor's rebounding should not be 78, and his defense could be high at 87 (resulting in the high rating of 78). His rebounding and block numbers were down last season by a noticeable amount. He is also not better than Nene (77).
- When Kevin Seraphin (currently rated 58) started the last 15 games of the season (all in April) he averaged 15.5 pts and 7 rpg helping the Wizards surprisingly go 8-7 in April. He needs a rating increase of about 9-13 points.
wow that way more effort than I thought I would put into this...lol, but yeah those are my suggestions. You don't need to take them as I will probably just change them myself. I edited rosters last year for NBA 2k10 so I'm no random slouch but these are your rosters so feel free to do whatever. *** **** I'm starting to sound like a prick or something...hahLast edited by NoLimits77; 07-21-2012, 12:46 PM.Comment

Re: Completed 2K13 rosters for 2K12 project with chiliad's rookies (PS3))
Good post NoLimits77, you made some great suggestions.
I agree with most of them but one I don't agree with is the Avery Bradley one. He's well deserving of his rating IMO. He showed not only the ability to outrun his opponents but also a very good three point shot and mid-range game. Not only that but he's one of the best cutters in the league and is terrific at finishing layups in traffic. His offensive game is much more polished than the avarage fan would think..
Edit: There's a reason why he beat out Ray Allen for the starting job. Not only is he a MUCH better defender but what Celtics were lacking was offense last year and he provided it just as well as Ray did.Comment
