WATCH ****ING BASKETBALL BEFORE YOU MAKING ****ING DRAFT CLASSES!!!

First off-Trey Burke is the BEST PG in the nation. PERIOD!
Second off-Brandon Paul is NOT i repeat NOT the 11th best SG! hes top 5 easily.
Third- HOW THE **** IS ANTHONY BENNETT NOT EVEN IN THE CLASS? ARE YOU AWARE HES BEING CONSIDERED A TOP 5 PICK???? WTF DO YOU DO? WATCH FOOTBALL AND DO BASKETBALL DRAFT CLASSES? *******

I decided to start a new assoc yesterday and used the latest 2k rosters and draft classes from a user called clecavsfan7. Interestingly his draft went more realistic with all types of players getting drafted at the right times. Mohammad went 1st overall and went on to have a rookie of the year winning season. There must be something in the way you rate players that make teams not pick shooting guards until much later in the draft because it worked fine with another draft class. Anyway if you could figure out why they don't draft sg in your class that would make it perfect!

It has nothing to do with the roster or the class. Whoever made it probably got lucky and has Shabazz poorly rated but with really high tendencies if he won rookie of the year. I could make a 50 OVR player win rookie of the year given the right circumstances

It has nothing to do with the roster or the class. Whoever made it probably got lucky and has Shabazz poorly rated but with really high tendencies if he won rookie of the year. I could make a 50 OVR player win rookie of the year given the right circumstances

I believe he is rated mid 70's at the end of the 1st season. I will check next time I play. But players were drafted from all positions, if the cpu ignored all shooting guards until after the 19th pick then that means the ratings are all messed up for shooting guards with this draft class.

I have no idea how he did it, but it just seems like his draft class worked great in terms of more realistic drafting. Not knocking anyone else, just saying I found unrealistic drafting results with chilad's and maybe he could check that other class out and try to duplicate it.

If you download any other class from 2K share that wont be the case... It has nothing to do with shooting guards it has to do with the best player. It could be C, PF, SF, or PG. I have tested and made classes with all of those different positions having the top player. The draft logic is flawed. There is no theory to why this persons class works. Nothing to emulate or anything like that.

Glad you're having fun with whatever class/roster you are using, but it has nothing to do with how either are made. Just with 2K's draft logic

Please feel free to spend 20+ hours making your own class if you disagree with certain aspects of mine. But as another user mentioned I made this class before the season even got started and all the ratings are on par with draft projections as of then.

You're contributions to the community are amazing. We who actually have a lot of things to do outside of making draft classes, for us and for free, appreciate and understand the process. No one should act as if you do not put effort into your classes as you and the rest of the team that Beds has assembled truly make 2K such a great game for me and hundreds of other people. I eagerly await your next installment in the draft classes that you create and I know that they will continue to be the best ones out on 2K share as yours always are.

Trust, i use to but since i use beds roster, it makes creating them a lot harder.

I'm not ungrateful at all. The fact i said im gonna WAIT FOR YOU FOR JUST TWO PLAYERS speaks volumes. Idk why you took what i said as being ungrateful....

This youtube channel can help you out a lot btw. They don't have a lot of 2013 players, but when it gets closer to the draft, they'll have pretty much every notable player scouted. Maybe when they have muost of the players scouted you can do a final version or something.
To supplement what i already knew about a lot of the players since i watch a lot of college ball, i used this channel as well. You prolly already know about it, but just in case.

I understand you're attempting to be helpful...but you are missing the point.

First off...Chiliad did a lot of research on different draft sites (including the one linked) before making his class...but again that was before the season started. A guy like McLemore wasn't listed anywhere...he wasn't even listed in the 2014 class when i was making my version of that.

Chiliad may update his current version...but my guess is that a 2014 class is much more likley. In the mean time...you are only talking about two players...just add them yourself. There is information on here and on beds roster thread about how and why he makes the edits he does...just make your own players.

I was shocked that the mock draft listed it exactly how it should be but with one user the mock draft is listed whack

i haven't looked real close lately...but...

There are 2 places it shows a "mock draft" in the game. The first one is to go into the scouting section for prospects and hit R2(i think it is R2 anyway). That one is laid out really well...even though the teams don't follow it.

There is another Mock Draft section once you are in the offseason. I forget where it is exactly...somewhere under general manager somewhere. That one seems to have the team draft order all screwed up when i look.

Yes it has the draft order screwed up, but that's not what I was talking about.

I was talking about prospects that are being taken in the 20's that shouldn't be. My post didn't have anything to do with the accuracy of the team order (don't care about that) just the player order

So it was just a suggestion for chiliad to maybe give his draft classes a look and see if he can duplicate the more realistic drafting how ever the other guy did it. Thats all. Otherwise as the Lakers I can draft up and pick up a solid sf/pf in the top 10 and get another 1st rounder like 18th or 19th and get Mohammad. If you have to up the potential for some shooting guards to get the cpu to draft higher then maybe chiliad should try that.
