Chiliad it would be awesome if you took a look when you had time to offer me suggestions based on the full criteria you used to create your 13 class.

Awesome! I just tested your draft class and I'm amazed! Especially Kasarav. I just don't know why but he went off to a double-double in the rookie 5on5.

I ran a series of tests to your draft and to an auto generated draft. I will share the conclusions from the several tests I’ve made:

There is a bug in the game. Even with auto generated rookies the two best rookies (both in overall rating and potential) were selected in 6 and 9. In Chiliad DC, the two best players were selected in 8 and 24. Definitely a bug in the game and not a problem with your DC
In terms of performance, during the season, your class performed slightly better than the one generated automatically (Shooting %, Minutes, Rebounds)
In terms of potential, your class has less potential, and the only problem with that is the trade value of the rookies. The best rookie from Chiliad Class had 2,5 stars, while the best rookie from the auto generated DC had 4 stars
The overall rating of the players from Chiliad DC is higher, specially when you go deeper

I believe the best thing we can do is to use Bedward's rosters or to give a slight increase to the potential of some players from Chiliad DC.

To the first part of that suggestion, yes definitely.

To the second part....H3LL NO.

NEVER increase POTENTIAL EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too much of it going around on stock 2K rosters as it is...increasing potential on the rookies would cause a nuclear explosion and the entire world as you know it would become ashes in merely seconds.

I've never made it past a season in 2K12 & have yet to start my 2K13 association, I noticed Shabazz Muhammad's potential is only a 70 something, does that mean he will not be any higher than a 70 whatever he is?

No he will still progress at a solid rate. He just won't be hitting the 90s in his 3rd or 4th season like he would if I had followed the potential model of the default rosters. I haven't tested far enough in advance, but I would say with his rating at 77 and his potential at 77 as well, he should probably top out at high 80s to low 90s.

I appreciate the testing, but I've mentioned multiple times in this thread that this draft class is specifically made for use with Bedwardsroy19's roster, and to use it with the default rosters would likely lessen an awesome experience.

And the low end players in my class are going to be rated higher than those from a default class because I feel that the talent discrepancy between the first guy selected in the 2nd round, the last guy selected in the second round, and the 80th best player in the class just isn't that much. Look at all the undrafted free agents that have impacts as rookies every season. It's not their talent level that keeps them from being drafted, it's just that those picks are better spent on guys with higher potential so teams can lock their draft rights as they develop.

Work on the 2014 class has begun. Right now I'm going through the same steps as the 2013 class and just entering vitals, appearances and signatures into the game. Once that's done for all 80 prospects I'll go back and do ratings/tendencies/hotspots. I start a new job this week that's going to have me working a lot of hours the next two months, so I have no timetable on when this might get completed.

So is the 2013 class pretty much set? I ask because I'm going to do a similar fictional draft project but I figured since I'm using bed's rosters I should make the draft classes similar to yours.

Chiliad to start off I love the work you do. But as a fellow draft class creator i was just wondering which of the prospect analyzers do you trust the most (I really enjoy Mike Schmitz video analysis) and do you trust nbadraft.net at all or any other website other than draftexpress.com
