Just wanted to pop back into this thread after a break from 2k and say great work Rondo keeping this roster up to date and imo the best out. I've tried way to many and after the first day of playing with your roster a while back I knew I was done with the pursuit of the perfect roster lol. I can't stop by this thread without giving a shout out to Iameich although he is a Heat fan I'll give him a pass for his contributions to MKHarsh's base roster and his ability to pull some strings and get this game to play the right way with his slider work.

BTW rondo, our Celtics are going to be a fun team to watch as it progresses. Plus these moments for teams when the glamour is gone is the perfect filtering process to weed out the team hopper fans.

Loving the new roster and shoe file. The Olympic teams you added now give me a reason to play with those teams now. This roster is hands down best out

First time posting in here. I really enjoy your work with this roster Rondo. Just an issue with the shoe file. A bunch of guys are wearing brands their not on. I only post this cause these are star players. For example LeBron is wearing Adi CrazyShadow2, Kobe wearing Way Of Wade, KD is in Adidas also.

I made some tweaks to Jimmy Butler. I increased his athleticism quite a bit and dropped his basketball IQ a little (mainly offensive awareness). He's still has the same overall skill level, just an, IMO, more accurate level of athleticism (he's one of the most athletic guards in the league). I also increased Marquis Teague's 3PT shooting, as he showed in the Summer League he's really improved in that area. And I increased Rose's tendency for isolation when freelancing and halved his tendency to post-up. Just some minor suggestions, I don't know if you agree with them or not.

Hey Rondo, is there a reason that you have Dunleavy starting over Butler? No biggie, took me 2 secs to fix it, just curious.

I actually just did it so that I could take a quick picture of Mike's shoes. Forgot to fix that, sorry.

Rondo, quick question:

Does changing a players position in the "edit player" setting affect the play calling?

Example, I changed Joel Anthony from C to PF.

I really couldn't tell you, to be honest. The play calling formulas are somewhat of a mystery to everyone, apart from probably vannwolfhawk. lol

Rondo and others-

This may just be effecting me but when I was changing the rotations for the NBA teams, I made the mistake of scrolling past the last nba team on the list (wizards?) and ended up on one of the dream teams or all-star squads. Since I didn't want to edit any of the extra squads I tried to back out but the game told me all minutes weren't allocated or something like that and asked if I wanted to let the cpu fix it or do it manually. For some reason it would not let me get out of the screen unless I selected to let the cpu do it. Once I did that, the game reset all the previous rotations done to my prior nba teams.

I just want to warn anyone else who edits rotations on their own to NOT scroll past the last NBA team in the rotation screen or risk losing your work.

*P.S. This is not a slam at all on these rosters as I love them and I was only editing them for my own personal usage.

Yess, this is an issue I've known about for some time. I think it has to do with the team types of the extra teams. Technically, all the extra teams are being read as Team USAs. I've been fiddling with it, but haven't had a ton of luck.

What do you mean finishing with rookie names? If you mean audio, I'm done. I've done all I can do. You can't make the announcers say names that aren't in the game.

Not sure if it was just me, but LeBron wasn't wearing lebrons........I saw a couple generic shoes out there too, should I redownload the shoe file?? Anyone else find this??

Kind of dreading this season's Celtics. Hopefully, being able to floor more youth, and more speed, can result in my boy averaging 13 assists per. Not getting my hopes above 20 wins though. Not with Humphries and Bogans on the roster. Especially the log jam at the 2. Tank for Wiggins or Parker, and steal Greg Monroe from Detroit next offseason!

Hmm, are you sure it's MY shoe file you have loaded? Are you sure that you have the NEWEST roster of MINE loaded? What it's doing is.. Kevin Durant's player ID is calling for the shoe code of 3535, in my shoe file it's the KD Vs, in someone else's it could be anything. Make sure you have all the proper files.

Man, this roster is the jam. Had an entire rainy Sunday at home to crack out on 2k, and it was absolutely glorious. Finally got my sliders tweaked to perfection and I'm seeing unparalleled realism in the game right now. I mean, the stats are flat out dead on compared to NBA averages, and I'm seeing a wider variety of outcomes. Had some low scoring games, a few high scoring games, I've been blown out, beat at the buzzer, won a game by 20+, won a nail biter.......all in a day's "work". All that, and the file is gorgeous. Loving all the new shoes, and the work on the CFs is fantastic. I do miss my classic teams, which I'm assuming are gone to fill out the FA list, but the Blue/White USA teams are cool enough to make up for it.

I thought about it, but he's got a really specific face, plus, if I remember correctly he's got a bit of clearly visible facial hair, which always throws it off. I did consider it though.

Glad to hear it, man! That was one thing I wanted to focus on specifically- The wide variety of possible out comes. Really wanted to make it feel like players could go hot or cold, if their real life counterpart does once in a while. LeBron will do 25/8/8 consistently, meanwhile, D Wade will be a bit more inconsistent with his scoring, putting in 30, then maybe 18, then back to 24, etc.

My edits messed up the Classic teams a little bit. Some teams don't have jerseys, some teams ratings are messed up, some things don't work right, I'd rather just hide them then try to fix them, since I will never use them. Plus, you gotta figure there's plenty of "Retro" rosters out there that are far more accurate than 2k's.
