Anybody else seeing sim PPG being too high? In a couple of simmed associations, I saw anywhere between 20 and 30 players at or above 20+ PPG. Not including the guys who were at like 19.8 and such.

Not a huge issue, it is fairly common in the real NBA to have between 15-20 players scoring in that 20 PPG range. 30 just seemed too high.

One thing I thought might contribute to players scoring so much is the fact that there are so many players with microwave as a sig skill.

Other than the PPG thing, this is a great roster for gameplay and realism. Having accurate accessories and transaction friendly shoes are huge for me, so I'm having lots of fun with this roster. Great work.

Which sliders r u using? If u r using mines… they aren't for association play only for quick play.

Probably because it's such a large image. I pulled it directly from my PVR so it's pretty massive. If you click on it, it will open the source in a new tab and you should be able to see it.

I seem to always score over 110ppg.. Iwas wondering how u think I cud fix this. And also I have the Gasol brothers as my bigs and I get out rebounded every game. Marc has a 60 OFF Reb, and pau has a 57 DEF Reb, y r there REB ratings so low? wat shud I do bout the rebounding?. Thanks in advance.

Neither of the Gasol brothers are very good rebounders, so I suggest you go after an elite rebounder like Reggie Evans or Kenny Faried.

But, to answer your question, I have lowered the global rebounding norm by about 15 attribute points for all players, this allows the Andy Vs, the Kevin Loves and the Reggie Evans' to really dominate on the glass. I had reggie evans pull down 24 rebounds in 27 minutes in a sim last night.

As for the 110 PPG thing.. Denver scored 106 points a game this year, which is still a little bit lower than what you're getting. I had the same issues personally, until I started playing more sim style ball. I'm guessing you run a lot of fast breaks and shoot a lot of 3s? If you slow it down, play more post you'll see things differentiate more. A lot more fun that way imo.

Could you fix the heights of these players ?


Durant should be 6'11 and skinny not 6'9
Beasley came in at the combine at 6'8 but list him at 6'10 an inch taller than what Durant is on the game .

I hope you fixed jimmy Butlers 3 rating as well , he was shooting around 43% From the all star break till the end of the playoffs . Should be like a 75 instead of in the 60's .

My new ratings system for 3pters and mid rangers puts Jimmy at 79 Medium and 75 3 point. I changed his position to SG, for now putting him at 77 overall.

And paul george is also i think 6'10 or or 6'9

Yes, the PPG is an issue which I'm trying to sort out right now. It's extremely hard to find a balance of accurate game play and sim stats, if you ask vtcrb he will tell you all day, lol. But, yeah like I said, I've been working on the sim stats for about 2 days. Still have a lot of work to do on it, but I'll like have my rufffdate out before I get it 100% sorted.

Also, sig skills have 0 effect on sim stats, tone of research to back that up.

I certainly will. Might not have any of the new coaches in the ruffdate, but they will be there.

I understand. Like I said, 30 really isn't that far off. I jumped to a conclusion after looking at the top scorers in the NBA this season and only 12 players or so scored over 20. But if you look at the past 10 years, the number of players scoring at or close to 20 approached 30 a few times. So, it's a non-issue for me.

I've been playin at a slower pace; walking the ball up the court, giving it to my big men in the post, and cutting down on my 3s, but still score over 110ppg. Is their any slider suggestions I cud change? Btw, pau averaged a double double last year and he only get around 4-8rebs for me, and Marc got 8 Rebs consistently, but he's getting aroun 4-6rebs for me...

Make sure you go for offensive rebounds yourself, at least half-heartedly. If you don't, the guy guarding you might go for the defensive rebound, forcing your PF/C to box out, leaving the opposing PF/C with the easier chance. If you see your guy run in, follow and make him box you out instead. This should free up your bigs to get at least a couple more boards per game.

I have a laundry list of things that I still want to edit, but most of them are merely cosmetic changes and won't effect game play much. I'm look for any input I can get, ratings are mostly final as are the sig skills. Most importantly for me, is to get some gameplay feedback from you guys, since I spend more time editing than playing.

Glad to hear it! I don't know if it's because I have old sliders but I had to boost up the passing slider and nerf the 3pt tend from 95 to around 55

I have just successfully re-ordered the NBA teams to put the pelicans after the pacers on a default file. Gonna be way harder on my real file, but now I know it can be done.. Now, just to search for bugs.

Not even close. I still have to take care of my laundry list as well as set the file up for next season.

I don't edit the historic teams. Actually- the way I edit usually wrecks the historic teams, so if you like to play as them, I'd find another roster for the classic teams.

As for the all star teams.. yes. I will edit them and Team USA.

You are setting the file up incorrectly. You should bring your own shoe file into horizon and copy all the info over to mine, then replace yours with mine. One of the IDs has to remain all zeros.

Just wondering bc I saw everyone rated as 25. I never use the historic teams so I could care less.
