Spreadsheet with the first 5 teams' ratings (76ers, Bobcats, Bucks, Bulls, Cavaliers) have been posted on page 12. I will put the link on home page as well.

Will you be working on player tendencies, coaching profiles, player accessories, team playbooks and signature shots/moves in future updates? This is a great start and I'm wondering if you'll be adding more?

So here are the first 5 teams: Sixers, Bobcats, Bucks, Bulls and Cavaliers. If there is anything else that you guys feel like should be on the spreadsheet just let me know.

This is exactly what I had hoped for, thanks so much! Sorry to hear it got erased man. I'll take a close look and let you know what I think.

Re: NBA Bound25's Revised Player Ratings

Ratings for the Celtics, Clippers, Grizzlies, Hawks and Heat have been posted in the spreadsheet and also changes have been highlighted for Evan Turner, Thaddeus Young, Spencer Hawes, Cody Zeller, Derrick Rose and Andrew Bynum from the previous post. Players that will be increased are Paul George, Roy Hibbert, Anthony Davis, Isaiah Thomas, Klay Thompson, Kevin Love and Monta Ellis. Players that will be decreased are Derrick Rose/Andrew Bynum (which has been shown), Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash, Amar'e Stoudemire, Nate Robinson and Robin Lopez. If you think there is a player that should be increase or decreased feel free to post your opinion.

How often are the updates because Manu and Harden shouldnt be hitting any 3 right now

It's been eight games man. Don't be so reactionary. Harden isn't going to shoot 27.6% from three the whole year.

Also, looking forward to the finished spreadsheet! Keep up the great work!

I'm just posting overall ratings since I can't really post the full ratings on here. You can check it out on 2k share.
Now that I'm checking out your spreadsheet, I'm wondering what you base some of your ratings on. Would you mind posting the stat or your thinking behind each rating? Like Reb% and Reb/36 for Rebounding, etc.

Btw: I've begun going over your spreadsheet, starting with positions. I checked 82games.com (this and last season's Minutes% per position) and disagree with some of the positions you assigned (or left untouched?).

Here are some of my suggestions:

                          T. Young: only PF, no SF (hasn't played SF in years)

                          L. Ridnour: PG/SG (actually played more SG than PG 2012-13, so he should have SG as secondary position)

                          J. Green: SF/PF, no SG (he is a combo-forward, even played more PF than SF 2012-13)

                          K. Olynyk: PF/C (played mostly PF so far)

Jo. Crawford: SG/PG (played more SG than PG 2012-14)

                          E. Brand: C/PF (played almost exclusively C 2012-14)

                          K. Korver: SG/SF (plays more SG)

                          M. Beasley: PF/SF (plays PF in Miami)

                          S. Battier: SF/PF (played way more SF than PF 2012-14)

Nothing major, just trying to perfect your good work. Looking forward to the rest of the teams.

For the rebounding, I'm using the % stat and I set a scale. Most of the players' rebounding ratings were based off last year unless I edited them based off of this season. Then the rating would increase or decline. For example, Nikola Vucevic had a 28% defensive rebounding which I have a 90-95 rating around that %. The % helps separate players who get rebounds at a high rate even if they play limited minutes. It also points out who are truly the best rebounders in the league.

Yeah I got how you do rebounding, I meant I'm interested in how you do the rest of the ratings.
