As a person who grew up and lives in Minnesota, I'm pretty upset over the T-Wolves picking Lavine. It sure looked like a derogatory "f me" statement. I can totally understand him not wanting to play here, but have some class about it.

Ok this is great having a native to weigh in.

So the way I see it. Whether you want to play in Minn or not. You want to be in the NBA. So quit ya b1tchin' and just get on with it.

If we the kid proves himself then maybe one day you get a choice in where you play ball.

Agreed! However, the wolves have been a disaster of a franchise since they entered the league in 1989 (with the exception of the years we had KG, Sprewell and Cassel). Minnesota is a great place to live, work, raise families etc. Yes the winters are bad, but it isn't the worst thing in the world. I lived in Victorville, CA for a few years in the 1990s, so I can totally understand a California native looking with horror at having to move to a cold climate. But like you said, it's not his choice.

I want a native's answer to this question. How do you feel about Love possibly being traded to the Celts for a package including picks and a Sullinger or Olynyk?

I would have liked the Celtics deal if it had been done before the draft and included picks #6, #17 and a future first round pick. Now it doesn't sound so good. The only deal that's being talked about that I like would be a trade with the Rockets. We'd get Parsons and probably future picks.

So I just did the draft lottery as "The League" roster Sixers. I had the worst record, and I fell to pick for, in the Blackshear draft (F*cking god d*mn F*cking F*ck), and what's worse, the f*ckin lakers got the number one pick (Can Someone say, "RIGGED!") from the second worst position. Man I'm pissed. I was hyped up for the Antonio Cameron (2nd team All-NBA point guard behind his brother) Whakil Blackshear backcourt combo. Whatever. I'll have to try and get Jabri Wilson or Gavin Williamson, two guys I really like when I scouted.

The heat won the title and Darius Player won regular season MVP and finals MVP, but not rookie of the year (that went to Adam Cameron oddly enough, even though they are both rookies since everyone is a rookie). I traded Drazen Tucokovic (that's probably spelt wrong) during the season because he was garbage in the clutch and all he can do is shoot except in the last two minutes, so I replaced him with the more competent backup point guard Cosmo Stevenson from denver by swapping 2015 second round picks and the two guards. I head into the draft hoping to add a shooter to the team, either from a stretch four like Gavin Williamson or from a guard to pair with Antonio like Jabri Wilson, and if both of them are gone by 4, I'll trade down and take Gerard Baptiste. I'll let you guys know who I end up with at 4 and 32.

I ended up with Jabri Wilson at 4 overall. Gavin Williamson went 2nd to the Celtics and Whakil is a Laker (RIGGED!!) Ayo Wilson slipped to 7 overall to the kings, and DeAndre White slipped all the way to 9 and the Utah Jazz meaning Deandre White and Kareem Bishop will be playing on the same team, and that's as dominant a frontcourt as you'll see. I got David Ramsey in the second round at 32 overall because he is a light's out shooter and he's good to have on the bench behind Maxiell at the 3. Overall the draft went well and nobody was taken well beyond their range in my opinion. I'm alright with my draft, Wilson and Antonio will be a dynamic backcourt for the future and Cameron's 6'6" frame will allow him to guard two's and cover up Jabri Wilson's lack of height. I think they fit well together and the team as a whole is a little better than it was before. Still would've liked Blackshear though.... oh well what are you gonna do?

Yeah I think the draft was pretty accurate, I'm just a little pissed I didn't get Whakil. I'm good with what I got though, and I'm not looking forward to playing Utah, that's for sure. Pairing those two together is just mean, and Bishop was first team All-NBA last year, averaging 21 and 8 on 51% from the field.

Hahahaha you missed out on Ayo too. He ain't no Blackshear but he handles his business! I'll admit at the time of the draft I took him begrudgingly with the second pick but now we into his 3rd or is it 4th year and he come along real nice. Especially when you pair him with Jameel Bethea..

But that sure sounds like a Bishop kind of year.

I was talking to Dreece last night and he ran a test association with DC10 which put the Bishops in Utah together.. Hahaha
