    i kinda just wing it on security based off ast:turn ratio and the eye test of people dribbling generally try to keep security close to the rating for off-ball handling, but in some cases its 10-20 points lower

          I thing jabari parker and shabazz napier can have this becouse they make to many points in the 4th quarter and they have pontencial to be closers in the other level...

          What u thing about Zach LaVine?? to me his NBA Comparisons are Vince Carter or a more athletic Klay Thompson and his signature skills are Catch and Shoot, Corner Specialist, Highlight Film... I dont thing he will be a PG in the NBA if he go to the NBA in the 2014 draft... thats why i put his positions as a SG/PG...

          Dante Exum may have the One Man FastBreak

          What you thing about this potencials?
          Jabari Parker = 92
          Joel Embiid = 86
          Andrew Wiggins = 97
          Zach LaVine = 77 or 79
          Marcus Smart = 80
          Julius Randle = 83
          Dante Exum =79<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="426"><colgroup><col span="3" width="142"></colgroup><tbody><tr height="20"> <td class="xl64" style="height:15.0pt;width:107pt" height="20" width="142">

            i know nothing about zach, i watched 1 UCLA game so far.

            potentials i did

            parker 95
            wiggins 94
            smart 90
            randle 90
            embiid 90
            exum 85

            scoring in the 4th doesnt make you a closer..being extremely efficient in the last minutes of a close game do...and there is no such thing as a rookie closer

              Hey dude this potentials are too high the players will grow to fast for example in one season a guy with 70 OVR with 90 pontencial will have a 80 rating after one season, in two season he will be a all star and making his way too the HOF... that don´t make the players dont grow but this make the prospects dont grow to fast if a guy have 70ovr and 74 potential his ovr will grow normally and when he reach his potential the potential will grow like other ratings... in the association when u are in the offseason u can send your player to develop his game and that make his potential grow a bit...

                Re: NBA 2K14 Draft Class Guide &amp; Formulas Project

                Potential Formula

                --->95-99 = Elite Superstar/Lock for Hall of Fame
                --->85-95 = Superstar/Perennial All Star
                --->75-85 = All Star/Potential All Star
                --->65-75 = Starter
                --->55-65 = Role player
                --->45-55 = Bench player
                --->35-45 = D-League player
                --->25-35 = Adam Morrison

                From 2000 to 2009 the NBA AVG 4 all stars per draft... Pay attention to how many players you will give Potential All Star in your draft classes....for example, analyzing the next draft you can have this:

                Andrew Wiggins = Elite Superstar/Lock for Hall of Fame (95)
                Jabari Parker = Perennial All Star/Hall of Fame (90)
                Joel Embiid = Superstar/Perennial All Star (86)
                Julius Randle = All Star/Potential All Star (83)
                Marcus Smart = All Star/Potential All Star (80)
                Zach LaVine = All Star/Potential All Star (77)
                Dante Exum = All Star/Potential All Star (79)
                Glenn Robinson III = Potential Starter (72)

                other example is in the trades value of the prospects you will have to trade a guy like J.Harden or S.Curry for Marcus Smart if his potential is 90.

                  Re: NBA 2K14 Draft Class Guide &amp; Formulas Project

                  Do you think Wiggins deserves that high of a potential? He has been far from complete this season, as he lacks refined skills and the "number one" mentality of a Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, etc. Plus, many draft experts have Parker ahead of him right now (not all, but many), as well as Embiid potentially.

                    yeah, wiggins has a sky high potential, he just isnt a complete player yet which is why he shouldnt be rated as high as parker but should have the same/higher potential meaning he will top out at a higher OVR during his career

                      I agree with all of that - I especially like the concept that Wiggins should initially be rated lower than Parker. It seems thus far that other draft classes have him still as the highest overall prospect in terms of rating and potential.

                      Aderito - is there a potential release date for this? Or, are you still in the early stages? I am very excited for your work.

                        I don´t have a release date for this but when i have my pc back i will say something... now iam just collecting the draft prospects data....

                        I thing i will rate Parker, Randle & Marcus Smart with higher OVR than Wiggins but less potential... I´m not seeing him with higher ovr than this guys....

                            I was seeing this video;

                            and i saw that Wiggins have some DeMar DeRozan skills on him and he is way to good in fast breaks... all videos i found about him he score more points in fast breaks and he his a good finisher.
