if you download the offseason roster, you won't need the 2015 Draft class cause the rookies are already included. from there you can start your Association. but you'll have to find a 2016 Draft class somewhere (or use a fictional class, just don't use the auto-generated Draft classes).
I have to warn you tho, the latest offseason roster is a bit buggy in association mode, and makes simming games very laggy.

Where do things stand on getting the file ready for Association mode? I asked this question quite a while back but there was no response. Thanks!

Download red mc and edit the roster or a roster of your choice from 2k share and edit it to your liking. I added josh richardson using Ervin Johnson cf and Darrun Hilliard, i used lazar hayward cf for hilliard. I tried acie law but it didnt give me the right cf so if someone can find a solid cf for Hilliard let me know.

Also sniapeko could you possibly change the cf of tim hardaway coach to the actual tim hardaway. Id do it but im not sure how to get the keys. I am interested in expanding my editing abilities so i can create jerseys and edit coaches salaries. I wanna drop a file that will upset 2k for free just to show how bad they suck at what they do and what they could be doing!

How can i put players on teams without having to pull from FA list? Id rather give the computer or player choice of what 15 out of 15+ players they wanna keep durring the year. That way you retain rights of players drafted without dropping them to FA and fing up their contracts.

I can't make edits to the coaches, Dancy has the license to that tab.
To assign players to a team outside of the game you need the Teams tab license.

Dude, with that attitude...
What I mean is, the file is not ideal for association mode because of some damn bug that I don't know how to fix that makes advancing in the calendar slow and laggy.
Other than that, it's good to go in regard to transactions/contracts.
Also, I'm selling my Xbox 360 in a matter of weeks so this project is soon to be coming to an end.

The only reason I came off that way was that you accused me of just asking for a released file. That was never my question dating back to my original post about this over a month ago. All you had to do was tell me there is a bug that's causing problems with Association mode. The only thing you said to my posts was the file wasn't ready for Association but didn't tell me why.

It's all good though buddy. I know as a former roster creator myself that stuff happens. I was just aggravated because you said you weren't releasing a file when that was never what I asked for to start with. It's all good! Not upset with you or anything. Thanks for your work on the roster set. Just keep us updated. :wink:

You just resign/rehash it like any roster file, and load it from the game I guess. I never used it as I don't mind about shoes, Dancy did it but it should work that way

done with resign and rehash. I saved it already in my usb stick but the file is missing when ever I tried to load it..

Load a copy of of the base roster from your ga,e onto the flash drive. If you're using Horizon to rehash and all that good stuff, open up the base roster and and information box should open up. Read the last 3 lines of text and make sure them match the the new rehashed rosters information.
