Think I'm moving over to the PC version. Just picked it up on eBay for $10- seems like modding options are practically limitless. Any experience/ thoughts on this?

I had NBA 2k12 on PC it was unbelievable. I had every time from 1970-2013, ABA teams, team usa teams and I'm actually thinking of doing the same. They do big modding every 2 years and imagine having a my player playing in the Jordan era or try and break thru with a team in the bird,dj,magic 80s... great steal of a game.

My ps3 freezes everytime I try an association. Any news on when this is getting fixed? Looks awesome, just can't play what I want with it haha.

How powerful of a pc do you need to have to play nba 2k.....and what type of controller is best to use?

I have an HP 2000 from 2011 running on W7. It took me a minute to get the settings just right to run smooth. I had to shrink the screen resolution and it made the crowd look like something off PS2 or even worst PS1 but the players were just fine. And I used a Logic PC/PS3 controller. Xbox 360 is what they recommend but if your pc can detect another controller, than 2k allows you to change controller setting (shooting stick if you want to shoot with the L stick etc etc). It's worth it. If you go on Stream NBA 2k14 is $30 and it is wel worth it because with the modding your actually getting 2 games in 1. With the ultimate base roster series the guys who do you'll have decades of fun. Plus, you can put a side file in your PC as a backup and this allows you to download all the content for FIBA 2k14 and run it instead of regular 2k if you like FIBA

Okay guys this is what I'm doing for my last 2014-15 roster, I'm searching thru each retro team and FA and finding look alikes for the rookies or similar guys with same last name and editing them to the actually rookie. I know I don't have the software to change names but hell if the guy looks like the guy, wearing the same number... I'll just turn the commentary off (it has become stale anyway) and turn off the player name bar under the player.... Since this glitch hasn't been fixed....Just wanted to plant the idea in others heads so they too don't have to suffer anymore and can play MC and association.

The only issue is some have that double name glitch and everytime i change 1, they all change to that 1. So, what I did was take the rookies that i couldn't edit their names to be right and named them ( ' ' ) put them on their right teams edited them to play like the rooks. Ill upload to 2kshare tomorrow I'll pull an all nighter to update rosters.

BadNews: 1. Names (some) will be '' 2. I'm not updating years players played in the league 3. I can't update schedule to 2015-16 4. No Summer League
GoodNews: 1. The roster works in MC and Association 2. I'll attempt! to update contracts. Well I'm about to get wired in and finish.... I hope everyone can just embrace this alternative until a more permanent solution is found. And plz by all means if you could port my roster and get it to what Schoene was doing plz just do it like nike....

@sc23 -- This glitch has been discussed in depth. @Schoene has been/is working on it. It may be that we've edited the game much too much, but I'm sure if/when @Schoene can figure out he'll let us know. I don't mind it, as he still supplies us with the absolute BEST & most accurate rosters for 2K. I just hope he has more roster updates in store for us after summer league/preseason.
