Hi Pared, nice work on the slider, is there any chance for you to update the first post, etc if you play with quickness at 30-35, please update/add quickness in the first post so that we know what can we do to improve the gameplay experience. Thanks alot again and keep up the good work.

Have you tried All-Star? You should get a similar experience... I just wouldn't go higher.

Haven't tried it yet and I'm afriad to because I can't play defense and I'm getting blown out on Pro. The one thing I wish is that the CPU did a better job of getting to the foul line and the CPU hacked more on open drives instead of giving up dunks. Does All Star improve this?

Yes, I actually did drop quickness to around 35. It felt a little too sluggish for me at 30 as the game progressed. What happens is the players feel too slow in mid-game. Early on if feels great but once fatigue kicks in.. I may raise it a bit more.

Thanks for the reply. I tried it at 30. Saw what you meant a little. Though I'm having some framerate issues as has always been the case playing at home with Philly in the 2k view...for some yrs now. Don't know why that hasn't been fixed yet. I'll try it at 35 tonight. You still have game speed at 50 though right?

the fact that you didnt lower alley-oops kind of makes me scared to use these sliders - cuz it's just known the cpu throws up way too many per game and you didnt tweak it at all

Blazers and Jazz had 60 PIP.. cpu abuses PIP too much.

I think Pared is just giving his slider suggestions and then tweak to your skill level

OK...? So don't use them? I didn't alter it because on Pro, if you're playing solid defense, it shouldn't be an issue. All-Star might be a different story, and anything higher is off limits to me.

You can do either.

I'm not addressing comments like this... step up your defense in the post if the CPU is scoring in the paint. Not only are there plenty of posts showcasing stats that display this as not an issue, the Jazz had 64 PIP against the Spurs of all teams on 11/5.

Guys, tweaks are there, enjoy them and make changes to suit your needs. I can't put it any simpler.

Switch your D up sometimes. I like to switch between 2-3 zone and man 2 man all game. I also set my player match ups for true centers and power forwards to "Sag off". Also you have to realize that the cpu is going to score in the paint alot. Set a goal for yourself. Like if I hold the cpu to 50 points in the paint I am happy with that. BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Up the CPU's contest shots. Warning you though... you're only making the game harder, and at the expense of realism. You'll see the CPU start recovering on the mid-range game b/c they're rushing to contest shots.

I made a conscience effort of taking better shorts and playing better D and you were right, I limited the Blazers to 34 PIP which was below avg. I had to have control of the C to do that.

I was wondering what the difference is between the pre-patch and post-patch sliders? I don't have the patch because I don't have Xbox Live.
