    Re: Playmakers 2K10 All-Star Sliders

@playmakers: In normal games, or just when I don't feel to adjust the player speed slider pre-game. Which setting would you advise as for Game Speed and the Quickness Slider?

Thanks, really like how it makes the game more fluid and believable...

      Re: Playmakers 2K10 All-Star Sliders

Sometimes i get caught out of postion due to game animations, like my guy goes into auto-defensive stance. But, there is times where they'll sag on their guy for no reason when he's a 3 point threat. I also run into the glitch where my man will stand behind the guy near the basket, giving him the easy dunk or lay-up. I'm gonna play some more games due to concerns about the computers ability to make shots. Had a few games where they would hardly miss a shot. A few times i thought it was on HoF. Other then that, I got nothing bad to say about the game.

If you don't touch player speed then I'd suggest using

        Game Speed 47
        Human Quickness-12/CPU Quickness-7

        Gamspeed 50
        Human Quickness-10/CPU Quickness-0

          Re: Playmakers 2K10 All-Star Sliders

          Thank you so much Playmakers!!!

I was getting frustrated with the super CPU AI on All-Star and I heard these were a good set to play on Pro with, but I decided to give them a try on All-Star for one game.

I played Cleveland @ Nuggets (me) in my Association.

I had a 12 point lead entering the half and the lead was erased in the 3rd quarter when Cleveland tied it up at 68-68. The game went down to the absolute wire as Cleveland held a 100-99 lead with :10 left. I fouled them and they missed the 2nd free throw. I threw the ball down court (very sketchy pass) and they went for the steal and missed. J.R. Smith went to the rack and got fooled. He nailed both free throws and they missed a game-winner.

I rolled them in OT 15-6 for the 116-107 victory (12 min quarters).

          Cleveland stats:
LBJ - 22 pts, 6 reb, 7 ast | 10-29 FG, 0-2 3PT -- He was definitely the focal point of the offense. He hit some awesome shots but wasn't getting many good looks.
          Mo Williams - 24 pts, 13 ast | 6-19 FG, 4-8 3PT, 8-8 FT
          Shaq - 23 pts, 22 reb!, 3 blk | 8-12 FG, 7-11 FT (was 2-6) - Absolute beast which makes sense because I don't have a true center.

          Denver stats:
          J.R. Smith - 32 pts, 10 reb | 13-19 FG, 2-3 3PT -- He was left open because they were doubling Billups/Melo
          Carmelo - 31 pts, 6 reb, 4 ast | 11-17 FG, 1-1 3PT, 8-8 FT
Billups - 22 pts, 18 ast, 2 stl | 8-21 FG, 1-4 3PT -- He had the ball in his hand a lot and found open guys
          K-Mart - 12 pts, 7 reb
          Renaldo Balkman - 10 pts, 5 reb
          Nene - 4 pts, 13 reb | 2-14 FG!!! Shaq owned him

My bench was/is terrible. I might need to make a move.

          Denver shooting: 45/101 (44%), 7-13 3PT (53%), 19-20 FT (95%)
          Clev shooting: 41-100 (41%), 5-20 3PT (25%), 20-25 FT (80%)

Remember it went to OT and it was an uptempo game.

How the Hell did you get the CPU to shoot that many FT's?

That has really been like 1 of my only 2 issues with the game. I can't seem to get them to shoot over 12-14 FT's.

Did you edit a rating or something?

              Re: Playmakers 2K10 All-Star Sliders

I have all fouls at 100

Just lost by 18 to the Heat 108-90.

If you had told me Dwayne Wade would only have 8 points I would've been very happy and thought I would win by quite a few.

Too bad Michael Beasley had 38 points on 18-28 shooting...

Carmelo had 23 pts, 9 reb
Nene had 14 pts, 8 reb
JR Smith had 12 pts, 4 ast, 4 reb
Chauncey had 11 pts, 8 ast

Denver shot 45%, Miami shot 54%...f'n Michael Beasley!

              36 PiP for both teams.

              Free Throws:
              Heat: 17-23
              Denver: 12-15

                  Ok cool

For my style of play I think putting everything at 100 might be the best direction for me. I won't change the sliders because some people might not like CPU shooting a ton of FT's.

But in the NBA there are teams on any given night shooting 30+ Ft's in a game. I think a guy like D.Wade, Dirk, LBJ or Kobe should have those games where they 20+ FT's by themselves.

I hate to say it but it's reality some of those guys you can't breath on and if I mug LBJ he should be shooting FT's on me.

                  Thanks for the settings

OT but don't forget to check out my Alumni file again this year. Hoping to get it done by the time the Bowl games commence.

But I should be done with BAMA in the next few weeks.

I feel a great balance of calls to no calls when the ball is taken to the hole with everything at 100. You get more reaching calls, but you need them to balance things out IMHO.

I've been very pleased...and boy do I need to really focus all game or I'll lose!

                              "Playmakers Balanced All-Star Sliders"

or just search for my gamertag "RichSM008" (two zeros)

I played with them and changed a couple things on it that I forgot to save before I uploaded them but everything is pretty much the same as listed by Playmakers in the first post. These were the "Balanced Gameplay" sliders and not the "Run and Gun" sliders, as I didn't play with those.

                              You're allll welcome.

Since most sliders change a little here and there, it is much easier to upload them with v1, v2, etc than to scroll through pages of a thread trying to catch each change. I just asked nicely...heaven forbid anyone use 2K Share...not like that's what it's for.
