Re: PuntNL's NBA 2K11 slider tweaks (for use with the Real 2K Insider roster)
Has anyone been able to offensively out-rebound (have more offensive boards than) the cpu with this set? This is one area I still want to get better in the final set.
And as promised the stats of my last game using v4.2: Knicks (me) @ Heat (cpu). They dominated me in most aspects, especially rebounding but I was able to hang in for almost all the game by shooting very well from downtown (with 3pt succes at 53, which is good to see). Game felt very real life. Offensive boards a side, AARGHH!

Re: PuntNL's NBA 2K11 slider tweaks (for use with the Real 2K Insider roster)
Got in one game with the newest set last night, version 4.2 is a pretty solid set.
Couple of things I noticed is there are alot less fouls called when you collide with the defender. Alot of colisions now result in a missed shot instead of a foul.
CPU shooting % was low as the Clippers shot 40% vs me in my Jazz season.
I beat the Clipps 94-84 as I shot 45% from the field.
Only one game, I will play a couple more tonight and report back, good work.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Thanks man! Looking forward to more of your experiences, still a bit looking into the shooting success, so feedback is more than welcome. How are offensive rebounds for you now? Will never get that right, but still looking for some improvements there!Comment

Re: PuntNL's NBA 2K11 slider tweaks (for use with the Real 2K Insider roster)
That probably won't help, but here's a game I played with your previous sliders (not the latest ones), using rashidi's rosters in an NBA Today matchup (I'm a little bit confused though, why is there only one "load" menu to load different things such as sliders, rosters, myplayer save file... ?)
I'm a noob with this game. This has been played at pro level with all NBA rules switched on. I played as the Knicks by the way ^^
Could someone please tell me ho does the save/load system work in NBA 2k11 for sliders, rosters, ... I don't know if I load things correctly. As it is, I load one file after the others, then start a game hoping one thing has erased the previous file loaded...
One thing that I think is really weird is that each time I start a game, NBA rules are "custom", with most of them switched off.Last edited by FrenchDavid; 12-08-2010, 07:28 PM.Comment

Re: PuntNL's NBA 2K11 slider tweaks (for use with the Real 2K Insider roster)
This probably happens because last time you saved your settings you had some rules switched off. It's ok to load different files before a game. You can load separately settings, sliders, rosters and save them accordingly. Switch on all the rules then do a "Save Settings". Do the same for sliders. If you don't specify a different name, this saves will become your default next time you launch the game. For quick games and NBA Today you can load different things before the game (except rosters for NBA Today).
Association is a different matter. When you save an Association all settings, sliders and roster will be saved in one file.Comment

Re: PuntNL's NBA 2K11 slider tweaks (for use with the Real 2K Insider roster)
Again only got in one game last night in my Jazz season, I beat the 76ers 100-85 using the latest slider set.
Pretty much the same game I played the night before, the 76ers shot a pretty low 38% from the field. Again the low fg% are a result of the bumping when they try to score down low. What happens is when they post up or shoot inside my defender bumps them which now leads to a missed shot, before in your previous set it would lead to them calling a foul and shooting fts.
I lead this game 81-59 after 3 quarters and they made a small come back in the 4th vs my reserves. I play at Chicago next and I am interested to see how this set works against a better team. So far after 2 games vs bad teams they have been pretty easy with the cpu shooting a really low fg %/.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Hey Punt, I just want to say thanks for a great set of sliders.
Like someone else suggested earlier, I am using them with Shot Stick Timing (all HUM shooting sliders are down 4).
I've also been playing on 5 min quarters, but I'm having a blast.Comment

Re: PuntNL's NBA 2K11 slider tweaks (for use with the Real 2K Insider roster)
Okay I had another small slideritus experiment. This time with the focus on rebounds and the impact the offensive and defensive rebounding atrribute sliders have. Games were CPU vs CPU on 11 minutes with v4.2 as a base and fouls turned off to just get a feel of the amount of rebounds. Don't ask me about the scores because in all games both Celtics and Lakers were shooting horrible. Probably has to do with fouls being off and a lot of contact and therefor missed shots. But anyway this is about rebounding, so here goes:
First Game Celtics @ Lakers slider adjustments: Off Reb 100 / Def Reb 0
Celtics ORR: 10.0 Lakers ORR: 16.0 Total OR%: 14.9%
First Game Celtics @ Lakers slider adjustments: Off Reb 0 / Def Reb 100
Celtics ORR: 7.0 Lakers ORR: 12.8 Total OR%: 10.7%
First Game Celtics @ Lakers slider adjustments: Off Reb 50 / Def Reb 50
Celtics ORR: 14.8 Lakers ORR: 13.1 Total OR%: 16.2%
Average ORR in NBA this season: 26.2
Conclusion: I DON'T KNOWLast edited by PuntNL; 12-10-2010, 02:04 PM.Comment

Re: PuntNL's NBA 2K11 slider tweaks (for use with the Real 2K Insider roster)
Punt, if you still can, check the the rebound distribution on games 1 (100 OR/ 0 DR) and 3 (50/50).
I would like to see if guards/ sf's are grabbing more in 3.
Very, very interesting btw. Difference is minimal between 1 and 3.Originally posted by Fabian Avenarius Lloyd[...] a man of subtlety or refinement is almost always nothing but an idiot.Comment
