    johnriii's cpu vs cpu sliders

I'm going to post the stats from my last game, then the sliders/settings I'm using. just to let you know also, I traded for T-mac, so the bulls roster is slightly different than real life.

    Bulls 112 spurs 82

    FG % BULLS 46 (38/81) SPURS 43 (29/67)
    FT % BULLS 86 (31/36) SPURS 86 (19/22)
    3PT BULLS 5/13 SPURS 5/12
    REBOUNDS BULLS 48 SPURS 29
    STEALS BULLS 11 SPURS 8
POINTS IN PAINT BULLS 46 SPURS 34
BENCH POINTS BULLS 44 SPURS 17
    BLOCKS BULLS 3 SPURS 5

the Story of this game is the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Duncan got into foul trouble with three in by the early 2nd quarter, so he was out most of that time. the bulls went on a 22-6 run in the second qtr, then on a 17-3 run in the 3rd. funny thing is, the bulls played two injured players (deng and boozer) very sparingly, apparently they are not completely healed from their injuries yet, and boozer was holding his abdominal area while running upcourt. Duncan scored 27 point on 9/13 shooting, but his foul trouble minimized that. below are my current slider settings:

    difficulty: all star

    flashy passes 15

By no means are these slider perfect, which is why I have put them out here. I've had this game from the third day it was out, and I began with the other thread for cpu vs cpu. some of these sliders seem to be very sensitive, and other appear to be dead and have no affect whatsoever. The foul slider seems to be really off, as charging fouls hardly ever happen, and loose ball fouls are non existent as well. My coach profile setting are on the default setting, meaning I haven't touched them at all. that may be the next place to adjust, at least pre-patch, which I'm sure 2k should be working on one.

    BULLS 80 LAKERS 93

    FG% BULLS 37 LAKERS 48
    3PTS BULLS 7/26 LAKERS 2/11
    FT% BULLS 81 (9/11) LAKERS 92 (23/25)
TOTAL REBOUNDS BULLS 34 LAKERS 48
    STEALS BULLS 15 LAKERS 11
    BLOCKS BULLS 2 LAKERS 4

The lakers rode a 31-15 1st quarter to an easy win. Gasol was unstoppable, getting two bulls (boozer, Gibson) into foul trouble early in the game. He scored 33 pts on 13/21 shooting. Kobe added 22, and D. Rose for the bulls slumped badly, scoring 13 on 5-22 shooting, with six assists. The only problem I'm seeing with these sliders are the post men domination, and there could be a few more fast break points.

I'd be interested in seeing more stats from your sliders. I always like to play CPU vs CPU myself. Have you made any more changes? Are you still testing?

      Thanks for your info!

I just finished inputting these and noticed one omission, which Ive identified above. What do you have attempt dunks at?

In the meantime, Im about to give these a go.

          Thanks.

yeah, I'm still seeing way too much activity in the post. I may move that back as well, after my game tonight...BULLS VS KINGS.

the bulls lead from the gun, sprinting out to a 19-6 lead in the first five minutes, and never gave up the lead. sliders are still basically the same, I raised a few things one or two but that shouldn't make a huge difference in the performance of the teams. If anyone would like to see my edited sliders, I will be posting them on saturday.

With my original sliders and these (last four games) my team (bulls) are 10-7. games are fairly balanced, and I've had two blowout games (loss to den 105-87, and win 112-82, san antonio). I will list players scoring averages below, just as a sampler. I have not simmed any of these games, by the way.

Derrick Rose 18.1 ppg, 7.2 apg, 1.8 steals
T-Mac 23.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg, .446 FG% (he gets tired really quick though)
                      C. Boozer 17.9 ppg, 9.1 rpg, .517 FG% (he's been injured already, 2 weeks out)
                      J. Noah 8.5 ppg, 11 rpg, .535 FG% (gets into foul trouble too much)

this will be my last post until next weekend, unless you guys have any questions during the week, I will check in for comments/questions.

how many field goals attempted a game are you getting? also, how many total minutes a game are you getting for each team? for some reason i'm getting more than 240 minutes on 12 minutes.

Re: johnriii's cpu vs cpu sliders

I'm getting about 75-80 shots per team with 11 minute quarters. I just finished a "post patch" game with my sliders, and I'm really pleased with the results

                          BULLS 109 CAVS 87

                          FG% BULLS 47 (33-69) CAVS 46 (32-69)
                          3PT BULLS 4/8 CAVS 8/22
                          FT BULLS 39-44 CAVS 15-20
                          REBOUNDS BULLS 40 CAVS 33
OFF REBOUNDS BULLS 11 CAVS 8
                          STEALS BULLS 10 CAVS 3
                          BLOCKS BULLS 5 CAVS 5

As you can see, the Bulls won this game at the free throw line. I will post my next few post patch games for possible tweaks, but so far, this looks pretty good....

if you see from my OP, I used someone else's slider settings as a base. I honestly don't even remember who's. anyway, that's the setting they had, and I haven't seen a problem from it, so I haven't changed it. there's a much older cpu vs cpu slider thread out here somewhere, and once I started posting on it, I was like the only one....so I decided to start my own...
