    Cesco and Greenie,

    What is up Gent's.

So tell me....is it a nice upgrade from 2K11? I am going to get the game but I am holding off for a price drop as I am still immersed in 2K11. I was looking at this for the Legends mode mainly.

    Thoughts?

      What up, A&S!?

Yeah, it's like when you are standing in what you think is a dark closet and someone turns the lights on to reveal you are actually in a stadium.

      I'd recommend it, most definitely.

        Yes, recommended.

It's like a 2K11 with much more movement on the floor. Plays are huge, AI teammates and CPU are really super smart. I also like the new commands.

So far everything which the game lacks stats wise seems tweakable via sliders. Talking about fouls, I've seen every one of them so far in only two games. I've seen shooting, reaching-in, over the back, illegal screens, 3 seconds, blocking and 1 charge.

Another note from today. Richardson got a small injury on the floor and got to get to the bench for a while. The game asked me who to replace him with, even if I've auto subs turned on. Nice!

Pretty impressed with 2K12 so far. But been sliding already, never understood the low go for on ball steals tendency anyway. And 3pt percentage seems to be on the high side so far. We will see...

I had limited time with the game, before I left for vacation this weekend. When I did it felt nice, but I was getting blown out on pro-sim so I got somework to do when i get back lol

Is there a way to download the slider set? If so how?

                There is no set.

Eventually, one of us will break off and start a new thread with NBA 2K12 sliders. These are for 2K11.

Like all years this is the time for frustration. It's the time when you try to familiarize with the new commands and at the same time you get punished by the CPU.

I dropped to PRO just to get a hang of the game, but I haven's still won a game Playing defense is very difficult this year and some teams really abuse the fastbreak and isomotion moves to get to the paint at all costs. I also see that almost every player, even bigs, have a killer first step and are able to get open at will. For now I won't "react" to this and leave the sliders alone, because I'm aware that it can be me not yet accostumed to new game.

I also hate the default camera (Broadcast Stadium). Yesterday I tried Nosebleeds and it got better.

Damn, each year I need more and more time to master this damn NBA 2K

Oh, I see in another thread that other players have noticed the foolish bumpiness that happens all the time when you try to drive to the basket. This shouldn't happen at all, so I believe this must go down if you don't wont to experience the barrier effect. What do you guys think?

It seems like they've reworked the entire inside game. I like it. So far the bumping is a non-issue for me.

What I do dislike is the want to isolate so frequently.

But, at this point, I feel like I can't say anything surely, for the same reasons you are mentioning Cesco. I'll give it time and read other's observations.

I have been using these sliders with 2k12 and I have to say that I am quite pleased. The little stats such as O.Reb, turnovers, steals stand out as the numbers are closer to real life. I'm seeing more non steal turnovers. The only gripe I have is that passing is somewhat bad for the HUM player as passes aren't fluent enough and lead to crazy turnovers & stupid passes. I'm going to experiement with the passing slider and see if I can get a sweet spot where passing is more sensible without sacrificing the overall stats of game.

At 45 you start seeing casual bad passes here and there, but not as silly as last year. It's a good number to start with and the overall turnovers seems just fine. Today I'm already playing better defense (thanks to some tips in the main forum) and I've won my first game on PRO. I'm using Punt NL tweaks as a start and changed something, not much. So far I'm fairly happy.

Changing ON BALL D causes major changes in how the CPU plays. But not as you may think. If you lower ON BALL D, CPU will act silly and stop shooting three and will not play aggressively. Try it at 40 and you'll see. So far I'm happy with it at 55.

Seems like I'm starting to see something good. As a result I'm gathering stats and see if something is way wrong.

                          See you later

I'm interested to see what you all come up with. For some reason I think 2K did a great job of balancing though. I'm playing Assoc. on All-Star right now and I want to see if I become good at in a few games.

I did notice that if you play D and actually run plays instead of freestyling, things seem to work. I play with Rockets and when I run plays for players who score the most in real life (K-Mart, Scola, Lowry). I see great results.
