Why put the clutch factor silders on 3 and the Clutch off in the option ?

This is just in case the two options function independently-- i.e. if "Clutch Factor" essentially covers the entire team with a blanket and affects their performance, and if the Clutch sliders affect individual players by enhancing the effectiveness of their clutch offensive and defensive attributes.

I find the uniform treatment unrealistic. The individual, less so.

If they do not function independently, oh well. Nothing is lost.

          Looking good, Ewing!

I don't know what you are doing right, but I just got torched home and home v. Indiana. Embarrassing. And, of course, fun!

I made the Iggy for Monroe, Prince deal. But unfortunately I lost Brand for 4 weeks, Thad for 4 weeks and Prince for 4 weeks. So I'm running w/:

          Holiday
          Meeks
          Turner
          Nocioni
          Hawes

You can see my dilemma. Lol. And my bench looks like a junkyard.

I'm thinking the F word and I don't mean the curse. Just a few more games and keep the stats coming. It helps me get in more than 1 game a day, which is all I can handle.

            greenieblue,

I have been using your sliders for my sixers association and i find that a few of the players never hardly miss 3pt shots. In my last game i had 64% for 3pt and in the last 3 games it has been over 50%. Like to know if you are seeing this in your games with the sixers?

Also when i try and pass, every now and again they would pass it too high for the player to reach resulting in a turnover. Any way on solving this? and with evan turner, using real free throw % he never scores a free throw are you getting this as well?

              Greenie,

If I want to tune down the cpu biting on shot fakes would I adjust on ball D, def awareness or a combo of the two? I know that I don't want to go too high on Def aware so that I'm not playing against robot D but I'm getting to the hoop a little too easy with this latest version and I'm willing to sacrifice a little realism for a little higher difficulty.

              Thanks!

Are you using Real FG%? I can hit some threes w/ Meeks and Williams, but I rarely crack 40%. In general, the Sixers are terrible jump-shooters in the game for me. Which is pretty close to realistic.

If you would like to see the inaccurate passes lessened, just up the Pass Accuracy slider.

Yeah, I don't know what is up with Turner. His FT's are junk. I haven't looked at his rating, but I think it must be in high 60's or low 70's. As long as you have Real FT% on, you should see it correct itself and hover around whatever his rating dictates.

This one is hard to figure out.

I have heard it was a low DEF AWR that causes this, but 68 is not low by any measure since the game ships at 50. I have also heard it was On-Ball D, and it may be, but it was above 50 and I was still seeing it.

Since it doesn't happen every time (at least not for me), I've assumed it was related to the DEF AWR or OBD attribute of the guarding defender. But, I'm not sure.

I try to police myself (as with the steals)-- and I have had the defender rip the ball out if I'm too close-- but it's quite hard to disable the option instinctively. It's also unrealistic to take the option off the table.

I would guess that it probably has to do with OBD and not DA. But I'm not sure how far you would have to go up to have them bite less. It must be above 55.

I guess there is a chance it is related to the Blocking slider, but those are the only three that make sense to me.

Let me know what you find out.

About Evan Turner's FT%. When using real FT% does it use percentages from last season to decide which shots go in or don't. If that is what hapens then it might be why Turner is not so good at free throws because he is in his rookie season so he does not have any free throw stats from last season.

But i doubt that if it works like that. Does anyone know how the the real FT% and real FG% works?

It's in the rating (which they probably based off his college FT%-- one that normally translates exactly, for obvious reasons). It may well be that the rating is the exact expected percentage (70 rating, 70% FT shooter).

The way I have seen it work is over a period of games the number will fluctuate, but will hover in neighborhood of his FT% history. So they may go on runs (hit 10 in a row) but the runs will correct themselves over the long haul. Of course, there is and should be some leeway to improve or decline.

But, his shot is ugly and often just gets in if it does at all.

He's shooting 72% this year, irl. 75% in his college career.

I'm going to let all three (four) walk. Probably hold onto Holiday the longest. Clear cap space, build exclusively through the draft.

I don't know if they have been uploaded, I have PS3.

Sim stats are right on the money except for all 12 players seeing action in every single game. Hopefully 2k is working on another patch to fix this. At the moment i am so frustrated by this I have went back to play MLB the show.
