Im locking on ur sliders, gr8 work m8.

Just a tip. Since we aint getting many turnovers, i suggest u decrease the pass accuracy to somethin like human/cpu : 49/48. Im getting more turnovers seeing a pass going out of bounds often, both for cpu and me. Also, 54 game speed is just 2fast4me ;p I went down to 50 again.

      Great job !

I like these sliders also..but is there anything that can be done about the pg dribbling the ball at the top of the key the whole shot clock then launching a long 3 from time to time? Or a patch will have to take care of it?

That is most likely an issue with the tendencies and or broken plays....don't think I can do anything about that man.

Cool, at least you gave 54 a go. I have been watching some of the 50 odd games I have recorded from last season and realized the NBA game is much faster than 2k12 portrays. But whatever floats your boat.

                  Re: Jesus's 2k12 All-Star Sliders

Probably the best and most realistic sliders I've tried so far. However after using them for 15+ games, I made a few slight changes.

First of all the pass accuracy does seem a little high to me too. I lowered it to 49/48 and I've already seen a few difficult and under-pressure passes to end up in the front seats or forcing the receiver to outstretch his hands to catch the ball. Using 55/50 it was almost impossible to do that. The worst thing that could happen was a steal or -more often- a deflection.

I also lowered the game's speed to 52 (and I'll probably put it to 50). This doesn't have to do with the sliders, it's mainly a personal preference since I'm in Europe and I dislike the endless run 'n gun of the NBA. Slower games suit me better.

The last thing I changed was the close shot success. 43 seemed a little low to me and I increased it to 45. My main grudge was that in 90% of the shooting fouls under the basket, the ball would never go in.

Another way to experience the problem is while playing the Bill Russell challenge. I played this game at least 5-6 times and, without the 3pt line, 80% of the shots taken were naturally close shots. Well, the percentages were abnormally low and there was no way to get fouled AND score.

Of course I could be wrong and the whole "issue" could be contributed to the Contact Shot success and not the Close one.

I'll try these updated sliders and come back with more feedback.

                    Re: Jesus's 2k12 All-Star Sliders

if you find something you want to change for your personal pleasure man, than by all means do so. I encourage it.

I just think people forget just how fast the game of basketball is. Watch a hi-light of a play develop, then watch a play develop in 2k. Watch a defense scramble and shift to close the lane and recover to shooters effectively in basketball then watch the slow motion version of that on 2k.

In reference to the close shot success, its me basically trying to separate the Hakeems from the Haywoods. In the NBA you cant just dump it down to anyone and expect success and even then, even the best miss nearly half the shots they take.

I have the passing where it is because I got tired of kicking it out of the post only to have the ball handled like it had Valvoline on it lol.

Well thats my reasoning...go with what works with you however.

Jesus what do you have your free throw difficulty on?
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

hey guys, I have been using this slider set for quite a few games now (about 8) and I keep getting really low FG%. I play as the Bulls in my association and I have had games where I have shot as low as 25% and the CPU shoots about the same. The highest ive shot is 42% and thats because i was going up against the lowly Kings.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? This causes my rebounds to be ridiculously high (about 60 per game) and causes for unrealistic results.

Hey mate, ive been using ur sliders for the association and i am honestly dominating with the knicks, i mean no matter what i try, i always tend to take good shots, the D never breaks my offence and tht leads to great shots, even on a pull of jay with carmello, they jump vertically but not forwards to change the shot success so it would miss. and against the O, its too easy, i always make them shoot tough shots, they take too long for their sets and i end up having enough time to sprint to them and affect their shot. Maybe this could be something with the offensive awareness n the defensive awareness, i would just like it so they would play an more aggressive defence and be more agressive on offence, at the point where theres a chance when i can get blown out in atleast 1 game

what im trying to say is that i will always get good shot quality and they wont, i will take a pullup jay with melo with a defender and it will still be A- somehow and i do a great job in impacting their shots which result in very low shot qualities

If you're feeling the O is too easy up the CPU's contest shot sliders, if you feel the D is too easy up the CPU's Offensive Awareness, you should get good results.
