Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
The other change I have made was bumping consistency back up to 50. It's set at 30 I think in the most recent set of sliders. With that slider at 30 the games for both teams were just atrocious.
By moving the consistency slider back up to 50 and I have said I have game speed at 46 the scores while not in the 120's have been around 95-105. I will also add with the slider at 50 the shooting percentages were slightly more normal. Last few games instead of being around 35 to 37% I have been between 43-46%.
The only thing that still bothers me is the offensive rebounding the CPU is able to do. Not every team should be able to dominate on the offensive glass. By the end of the game I will most times out rebound the CPU but usually get crushed on the offensive glass.Comment

Also if you think maybe you are struggling with your shot timing go into the presentation settings and put on SHOT FEEDBACK or SHOT TIMING FEEDBACK not sure exactly what its called but there are 2 options. One is for shot quality the other for shot release timing. Every time you shoot make sure you see green. It helped me a ton.
I have noticed the CPU will go inside more with these sliders. I used to have mid-range shot frequency higher but that lead to the CPU draining the shot clock every time and settling for some crazy jump shots. Now even though the CPU does go to the basket a fair amount I also see the CPU taking open jump shots when I get out of position on D.Last edited by BlingBling19; 01-10-2012, 02:41 PM.Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
Now of course if the CPU were not as good on the offensive glass instead of winning a game by 5 or 6 pts I might win the game by 10 or 15 pts which then makes the game less fun. So perhaps the CPU getting the extra scoring opportunities actually creates better games even though the offensive rebounding numbers might end up being skewed.Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
I am also wondering are people using SST or real FG% for the shooting? I have been using SST as it seems to get stats closer to what they should be.
I also didn't use real FG% a whole lot because the games were just brick fests and it wasn't very fun. Those were also the games where I was constantly shooting in the low to mid 30% range lol.
Does real FG% with tweaks provide a more realistic game or is SST the way to go??Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
I don't see rebounding as a whole a problem as usually most times I will out rebound the CPU in total rebounds its just the discrepancy on the offensive glass that I find frustrating.

One other thing majestic (and the sliders play great) but what can I adjust or do about so any shooting fouls? I've lowered shooting foul frequency down from 83 to 80 for both CPU and human. I'm just noticing almost any time I go up to contest a shot in or around the lane I get whistled for a foul. The most annoying thing is when anytime someone like LeBron, or any of the other freak athletes on the game, driving down the lane and going up for a monster dunk and there's a foul called 99.9% of the time, even if the player just jumps over my player.
Like I said, I don't know if this a slider issue or just a general game play issue.Last edited by hoopla32; 01-13-2012, 09:35 AM.Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
Am I the only one who experiences a lack of aggressiveness of the cpu? Just blew out the Spurs because they refused to take good shots and so they always ended up taking a contested one late in the shotclock...
Btw: Have these sliders been updated recently?Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
I have found the CPU to attack in a variety of ways. The most recent updated sliders are at the bottom of the first page in black font.
I have found the games to be competitive only issue I have found was the offensive rebounding which has been discussed. I looked at another slider set and the rebounding seemed almost fixed when I changed the setting.
I had offensive rebounding at 100 for me and 0 for the CPU. Defensive rebounding was at 0 for both HUM and CPU.
That fixed the rebounding and the numbers looked fantastic from game to game.
The problem though was the sliders were just way to easy and both teams just scored at a unreal clip.Comment

You mean the v2 in the first post, right? I'm already using that version..but in the last few games I always won because the CPU didn't really execute.Comment

I really don't defend that well..but everytime I somehow disrupt the play they just dribble till the end of the shotclock and then Kobe takes a shot. Don't know why this happens..didn't happen until a few games ago.
