Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
Just had to come on here and say, Majestic these sliders are great, I'm relatively new to 2k basketball and im still trying to get the control down so i know what im doing and when.
With this in mind im playing on Rookie. Rookie default is too easy but has some annoyancies, so i plugged in the key aspects of your sliders that i liked i.e blocking, rebounding, off awareness and some others. I decreased my shooting sliders and left the cpu's alone. Last i plugged in some aspects of this thread to cut down on the contact.

Now i am having the 2k experience that I wanted. Thank you.Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
I'm going to give these sliders a shot. I just don't have the time to come up with a good set myself. I tried Pro/Default and while the game was fun, there were 6 total fouls the entire game, and they were all committed by the CPU, meaning the CPU shot zero free throws in the game.
I think I'm going to try this set out on Pro first and then bump it up to All-Star if winning becomes too easy.
I'll be using Real FG%/FT%, so I'll be keeping a close eye on the 3-pt. percentages because in NBA 2K11, if you had that slider lower than 50, you missed a high percentage of 3-pt. shots, even with great shooters.Currently Playing:

Im playing on hall of fame with these sliders and Im enjoying it...for less bumping all you have to do is put the onball defense to 38...the game play very well and u can put the contacts back up to 100..and bump user inside and close shot by 1Last edited by Aceboonkoon; 10-30-2011, 08:46 AM.Comment

Sliders are good, but I think for those that are using Real FG%, you may want to bump up the mid-range and 3-pt. success sliders by 2-3 clicks. I saw a lot of uncontested misses from those ranges with good shooters.Currently Playing:

with shot stick timing and where the sliders are for mid and 3pt at 47/46, and 46/46 respectively, it doesnt matter how good or familiar you are with a player's release, you will MISS SOME at a realistic rate.
for those using Real player FG%, as DJ mentioned, you might wanna bump it up 2-3 clicks. I dont use it personally but i settled on:
Mid-Range: 49/47
3PT: 48/47Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
I love the way your sliders play man. The CPU really utilizes their star players. The only problem I seem to have is really high FG% and I find shooting too easy. I consistently shoot over 50% even up to 55 and above and so does the CPU. Do you have any suggestions to any changes I can make?Comment

Re: majestic24's 2k12 All-Star Sliders. (Stats inside)
Yes, I'm on all star and shot stick timing. I play with the Celtics and am familiar with the releases too. I tried bumping my mid range down to 46 but couldn't hit a single shot even if I was open haha. I'm trying to experiment and see if lowering user offensive awareness does anything. I also increased CPU shot contest tendency to 50 to see how it works.
Btw, have you tried setting the hustle slider to 80+? I heard it reduces the abuse of fast breaks and I actually had a hard time dealing with fast breaks before switching to that. Thanks again for the sliders.Comment
