    hey sladler, just a quick question, how do you get so many offensive rebounds? i play lakers, and i believe they're good at getting second chances, but when i play, i usually get 4 or 5..looking at your stats you even got 17..(great job!)a little help please! im getting frustrated and i dont know what to tweak anymore..

      Since I am the spurs alot of times they are Duncan getting his own misses. On shot attempts I quickly switch to the man closest to the basket by using R1 and his icon. Plus my shooting % is not too high...which means more misses and more chances for rebounds. Plus looking back I may get 10 her 11 there but there are 5 and 6 too. I think it all evens out. Make sure you are using all my slider settings. I have made so many changes the last few weeks you may have missed an adjustment or two.

        Hey sladler,

        Just tried your sliders last night for a game in my association with the Wiz. First enjoyable game I've had since playing on default pro. Other sliders make me feel like I'm being cheated when I'm playing smart bball. I know when I should be losing and I know when the cpu is just on some bush. I played the Hornets and CP3 was aggressive and attacking. He did hit some last second shot clock shots with men in his face but I pardoned that. People that shouldn't go off didn't. I tried one set of sliders, same game, and Belinelli went crazy and I couldn't stop Landry. With those sliders McGee was getting outrebounded by EVERYbody.

        This game McGee finished with 14 rebs, Wall has 20 and 5 asts, Nick had 20, and Rashard had 17. I also like that you have FT difficulty down to 0. For whatever reason on AllStar at default, you end up missing half of your FTs. I missed 5 this game, 15 of 20 I think. Will play another game (hopefully) tonight.

        Appreciate the work...don't go changing too much. These play well. Also my man Wall had a fastbreak and laid it up. Ariza had one for NO and he did too.

          ok..thanks man..got another question, hope you can help me with this..do you think the vertical has an effect on allstar, wherein the com jumps higher than normal?coz the way i see it, they seem to fly so quick to grab rebounds, especially players with high vertical rating..even on jump balls, i have never won a jump ball on all star lol!maybe im really just a noob..

              I think the vertical wont change with the difficulty. It just varies the difference in jumping ability between players. 100 would make a huge difference between players. I tried it at 0 and its like you can not jump. 50 makes a difference between the athletically gifted and challenge but it does not create cheap opportunities for those with more ability.

                  Ok going to make a few changes. Dont panic people this will not take away from the game play. Steals and Block again way too high. These change will hopefully help:
                  Help Defense Strength CPU down to 70-alot of blocks come from another guys defender stepping over. It is realistic but it is happening way too much.
                  Steal Success 5/5
                  Ball Handeling User Increase to 57
                  Play Passing Lanes 10/10
                  Those 3 are trying to limit the amount of steals. My goal is to get steals around 7 or 8 per game.

                    VERY IMPORTANT!
                    I have made a number of changes the past week or so. Please make sure you are using all the updates. Updated sliders are in post 2 of this thread. I will repost on 2kshare and name them sladler10 v4. This is very important that you double check and make sure you have all the changes. I have been making multiple adjustments per day.

                        MUCH more balanced compared to version 3. I played the Supersonics vs. the Lakers and won 81-79. Fouls and 3 pt. shooting were more realistic.

                          Thanks. I think we are very close. Free throws were off before but now my % is better and the CPU is shooting more 3s. Blocks and Steals were down in my past game.

                          On a side note.....I doubt Ill be playing much today or tomorrow. My grandfather passed away so we have the wake and funeral. RIP Grandpa! Ill be back to work as soon as I can. Thanks for the input guys.

                              If you looked at the 1st few games my free throw shooting was terrible. It was like 60% or lower. I made it easier to get a realistic percentage. You can change it to what you want if you find it too easy. It was an area of the game I could not get to look realistic without changing it.

                                thanks. also, because the cpu tendencies are so low for taking shots (close, mid and 3 pt), does it limit their aggressiveness on offense?
