Summary
We had a huge 2nd quarter, scoring 36 points. This was sparked by switching into a 2-3 zone, which stifled the T-Wolves defense for several minutes and led to a lot of FB points. They eventually hit a few consecutive 3s and I had to switch back to man-to-man. It was a great game back and forth all game long. At the end of the game each team hit big shot after big shot. Kevin Love hit two fade away jumpers (one with 2 guys in his face) that were super clutch. Wesley Johnson hit a 3 pointer to give them a 5 point lead with 30 seconds left that sealed it. My starters have been terrible at closing out games so far.
Impressions
The T-Wolves did not look for Love at all for most of the game, and he also wasn't doing much on the boards. Then in the 4th quarter he went off and had several key offensive rebounds and scores. Again, fouls and TOs were really low (most of the T-Wolves FTs came at the end of the game on intentional fouls), and FGA and rebounds were high. These issues are definitely related. If I can get higher TOs and fouls, then rebounds and FGA will obviously lower. I'm going to try raising the foul sliders up a bit more for the next game.
