    Actually, I have pics of that Spurs game with me.



    This is the last one I played yesterday and it was very realistic. The struggles throughout the game were great, the runs didn't feel scripted, and my attemted comeback at the end was just a matter of Kobe finally getting hot at the right time. Overall, this is how I want the game to play from now on.

        These are the sliders I used. They aren't perfect, but they are pretty consistent. They are for players who want a challenge, but want the game to play as realistic as possible. Remember to play the CPU straight up to decrease their shooting percentage. Playing off the ball is still penalized in this year's game. Also, the defense sliders can be up'd for more difficulty if desired.

              I like these slider sets very much, I really do. They play true to life, and they have realistic outcomes in the scores. I just played game one of my Bucks Assoiation and pick up my first win of the year.

              I did have a few gripes though :
              • Game Speed too low (Personal Preference)
              • Camera View (Another Personal Preference)
              • Too much switch on defense both CPU and user. (There were plenty of times my gaurds had an oversized forward on them and I just blew by for easy scores.)
              • Score in the paint Way way too easy (I had amost 80 points scored in the paint. The defense in the paint is flat out bad. Thats 2k13 in general though IMO)
              • T.O. not resulting in points. I had 14 Teams 10 this game compared to my opponets 6, and I won this game by a heathy 8 points.

              Other then that the sliders are great: Things I noticed.
              • The Celtics used KG when he was in mismatch situations he turn around J was money.
              • Rondo having an eye for open players. On one poss. He found a streaking Paul Pierce and make a fll court pass on the money for an easy bucket. He also was a monster on the fast break, Witch I like.
              • Seeing players like A.Bradley playing on ball tight defense for 48 min. He was a pest, but it was enough to stop Monte Ellis score 28 points.
              • Seeing players only forcing shots when the shot clock was winding down. No unrealstic and shots takes from any CPU players (They played like themselves)

                Camera view Anything that is not broadcast cam doesnt exist in my opinion LOL Thank goodness NHL 13 finally has a proper one. I am a happy gamer this holiday season

                  Will moving the base difficulty up negatively effect sliders?

                  Going into the third quarter I already have 75 points against the Hawks.

                  Any tips to make the defense play harder?

                    Didn't try already your sliders Tomba, as I read the topic and it seems that a lot of people agreed to the same (constructive) critics. So I'll wait your next update ...

                    At least I tried your camera settings (well I tried, I'm french and don't know if i chose the right traduction of camera type in the game) but I agree with what was said upper : in fact it's the settings you proposed on the broadcast camera wich I found disturbing too : way too close from the ground so I found difficult to have a general view of the field.

                    Can't wait your next update :-)

                      The middle shots % are better balanced from the default but :

                      - cpu offensive rebonds is way too high for me ... I played Celtics vs Bucks and they grab way to much rebounds after a missed shot ... sometimes all of them after a good defense for my part on the shooter resulting in 3 consecutive missed shots.
                      - CPU penetration in the paint is too easy ... or perhaps I'm a bit disturbed on the individual defensive play this year
                      - CPU defense is tough ... lot of blocks on middle shots, some of theme faded away.

                      The rest is good.

                        Game 2 Bucks vs Cavs. I trailed a lot of this game. Up until the forth qr. I made my few defensive adjustments and It was a lot better. Going into half being down 12 seemed like an uphill battle.

                        What else I am noticing...

                        • Teams continue to go with there game-plan even if its not working. (More of a 2K issue, then a slider issue. 2K AI should be developed enough to know thats something working. I clogged the paint, and they continuously tried to bang it in there.
                        • Points off T.O. aren't that high. There is no negative to committing T.O.s I committed a horrid 23 T.O. and they got 31 of a possible 46 points (going by 2s) I forced 9 T.O. and and got 13 points off of them. I would like to see T.O. have more of an effect. They had 19 steals, and it doesn't matter.
                        • Another issue It seems is Defensive AI might be too low. As I was wining down the Shot Clock for a few possessions because I had a healthy lead, I noticed players just standing in the paint. 2 times where the players go back to back 3 in the key calls.

                        I am about to play game 3 now, I will be back with more feed back after this one.

                          Assist - 90-90 (33,26,31)
                          Rebound- 139-86 (28,31,, 27,) (+53)
                          Steals- 16-42 (14,19,9,) (-26)
                          Blocks- 1-4 (1,1,2,) (-4)
                          Fouls- 35-29 (9,11,9) (+6)
                          Turnovers - 57-22 (7,8,7) (+35)

                            * First off, thanks Tomba. I had fun with your set on 2k12, hoping to have the same on 2k13.

                            ** Next is what I have noticed
                            ** The flow of the game is at most the same as what I`ve had in 2k12 so its good.
                            ** I went a little bananas on the 3s specially early in the game (I was 8/10)
                            ** CPU tends to push the ball even though they(or the PG) are outnumbered
                            ** Marcus Thornton took about half of the 3s (5/16) of the Kings
                            ** I find it much easier to bury mid range and deep balls as compared to close range shots, layups and dunks

                            *** I can`t say that this is a good sample game but for me, this set is very promising. Specially since Tomba is working on some more adjustments, I think this set would end up great in the end.
