Every time the CPU cuts me off or bumps me they make me pick up my dribble.

You have to make moves when you have defenders in front of you, you cant try to run them over. Cutting you off means you need to pass the ball or do a dribble move to free yourself up, before running into the Defender..

So I just lost to the Kings because their offensive rebounding was unreal. They had 22 offensive rebounds to my 3. Cousins and Thompson killed me on the boards and I had Al Jefferson, Favors and Kanter in there all game...I have "box out" on my TSC too. What else can I do to make that more realistic. I mean I couldn't buy a rebound for the life of me. They got second chance after second chance and several times during crunch time, they just kept rebounding over my guys despite me being in solid position

I had the same problem but now i have it +/- under control. Basically, and i know this seems too evident, but you need to have your bigs under the basket. For example, if you are against a C or PF with shooting range and you play them tight, this players will draw your bigs AWAY from the basket where they can´t rebound.

Another thing is, as soon as the CPU shoots you need to select a player and IMMEDIATELY box out, and then TIME your jump.

It´s really hard to rebound in this game, but it can be done. It just demands a LOT of effort on every single play!

Sometimes, if the CPU takes a bad/forced shot i don´t even try to block it, i imediately go for the rebound instead!

Also, if you choose the preset tactic of defending the paint it helps, since your players are near the basket!

Hey guys....one thing i have noticed with the box scores (except it seems for SB) is the AI always has more FGA than the user....i too was experiencing this

                  Re: 2013 Trifecta Sliders

Usually that´s because we, as users, commit more turnovers and they have more ball possessions, meaning, they have more field goal attempts.

Look at the turnovers. If you have more, you will have less ball possesions.

You make a turnover it´s -1 ball possession for you and +1 ball possession for the cpu at the same time, so in a single turnover there is a difference of 2 ball possessions between you and cpu.

                        Re: 2013 Trifecta Sliders

So I am trying something new with the Tendencies, I just thought of the idea at some point yesterday and decided I'd give it a try when I got back to my Box. The idea is to adjust the Tendencies based on the Tendencies in the Coaching Profiles by figuring the average of each Slider. Here's what I came up with:

                        Inside Shots 75
                        Close Shots 80
                        Mid Range Shots 84
                        3PT Shots 65
                        Attack the Basket 84
                        Post Shots 80
                        Look for Post Players 80

Mind you this should only be for players using the 2013 Trifecta Rosters.

Here are the stats from my first game played with these tweaks.

                        NOH: 26 | 23 | 31 | 19 | 99
                        ORL: 24 | 27 | 28 | 23 | 102

NOH - STAT - ORL (User)

                        99 - POINTS - 102

                        8/26 (30%) - 3 POINTERS - 9/24 (37%)
                        19/21 (90%) - FREE THROWS - 21/23 (91%)

                        27 - DEF. REBS - 31
                        14 - STEALS - 12
                        3 - BLOCKS - 7
                        14 (15) - TURNOVERS (PTS OFF) - 15 (18)
                        18 - TEAM FOULS - 20
                        10 - BIGGEST LEAD - 10

                        NOH - Gordon 28 PTS, 8 REB, 1 STL, 10/21 FG
                        NOH - Davis 23 PTS, 12 REB, 2 STL, 1 BLK
                        NOH - Anderson 15 PTS, 6 REB, 2/7 3PT
                        NOH - Lopez 10 PTS, 11 REB, 1 BLK

                        ORL - Harris 23 PTS, 6 REB, 3 AST, 2 BLK
                        ORL - Vucevic 21 PTS, 13 REB, 1 STL, 2 BLK
                        ORL - Nelson 21 PTS, 6 AST, 1 STL
                        ORL - Davis 12 PTS, 7 REB, 2 AST

There are a few things I need to let you guys know about this game:

-In the 1st half, the Hornets chucked up 55 shot attempts on me. With a conscious defensive effort, in the 2nd half I limited them to only 31 FGA. This is a great sign.

-Both teams shot well under 40% in the first half, but picked things up a little bit in the 2nd. Despite a high scoring 3rd quarter (where A LOT of FOULS were called) the game was never very efficient or free flowing for either team. We both worked HARD for the baskets we got.

I believe they are, but i´ll let straightbaylien answer that.

Ball handling at 100? The cpu will kill me with dribble moves!

And is the defensive awareness at 75 really for the cpu? As a user, i could really use it more! Still getting cpu with higher than i would hope for numbers in PiP.

The bold numbers are NEW Edits, separate from the Alternate edits. Sliders in bold are new things being tested that are not concrete as of yet.

The Ball Handling at 100 is something I'm trying, you can lower it if you see fit. I want to try to make the Value closer too 100 than 0 though I think because I want good ball handlers to be able to stand out while also still making good defenders be able to strip the non ELITE guys and big men.

And the 75 Defensive Awareness was suggested by VTCRB because a few people felt the CPU D was a bit soft on 50. If 50 provides enough challenge for you, as it does for me, leave it at 50.
