I have a question.

I usually have play calling set to "Auto". I see you guys recommend manual play calling.

How do you decide which plays to call? What's your guys' philosophy on it?

It all depends. If you are doing a 30 team user controlled association and you are playing with just your team and simming everything else, I'm assuming that then you have watched and you know your team quite well that you know what they would run on a game by game basis. I toggle it back and forth from auto to manual because there was a post that having it on auto if you paid attention throughout the course of the game you would notice that certain plays are called over and over and over again.

I have it on auto but override the playcall 85% of the time. I also call quick iso's and post ups occasionally.
As far as which plays to call i get each player involved early and then ride the hot hand and take advantage of matchups. I have a few plays that are money that i keep on the bank for important situations.

I apologize to everyone for my absence as of late. I have been BUSY with real life but things seem like they're calming down now. I appreciate vt, Eagle and everyone else who has been responding on my behalf. Thanks guys.

this is crap sliders basically making you use zone 99% just so players dont rape you in the pain

One question. Rudeness aside the guy above did have a small point about the cpu attacking the post. His post is pure hyperbole but there is a huge amount of post scoring by the cpu. Sometimes it seems they just cram it down there 90% of the possessions. If i wanted to tone that down a bit which sliders should i tweak? I suggest going with vt's suggestion of setting the Inside Shot Tendency to 65 for now. I will be diving back into some Quick Games to analyze/edit the set so I'm sure certain things will need to be changed.

I've played on Real FG% for as long as I can remember it feels like so the only thing I would suggest is trying it out and letting me know how it turns out.

I always call my own plays for the reasons that Eagle stated. The CPU gets very repetitive with their play calling and I like to keep the opponent guessing as to where my offense is coming from. Either call plays from the playbook or a combination of Quick Plays (Quick Iso, Post Up, etc.)

if i play man to man they always beat me and yes im using the slider and the roster acordingly and i like it. i am not losing any games but is annoying that they score at will from the paint.

i wish i could record or something so you guys can see i havent played my association in a while but basically what they do is get inside with the point guard if i am able to stop him someone gets open and blows by me... is really easy to blow by people and score i am scoring 150s a game is just not realistic...
im playing fantasy association i got D12 ibaka jenning thabo and galinnari as starters

i gave it a try i went 4-0 but my fifth game i cant stand the gameplay... im sorry i just dont like it if anything i was using mkharsh slider set before this

The Roster and Sliders are not for everyone. I understand you are having issues and I apologize for that. Hopefully you can find a set of Rosters and Sliders that work for you.

If you see 2 numbers then it is USER/CPU. If it is ONLY 1 number then they are both the same.

I'm really ****ing tired of having competitive, enjoyable games only to have the CPU go superman in the 4th quarter shooting 70% and making superman blocks and steals.

Advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs with the bobcats in my 3rd season. Beat the Knicks 4-2. Fun series despite the aforementioned CPU crap. Great sliders.

I haven't really seen the CPU have much of an unstoppable run with these. Sometimes it may feel like it but there ARE things that you can do to stop the CPU when they go on runs. Defensive adjustments/strategies, play calling and even the occasional timeout.

And for injuries, I have them as followed:

Injury frequency: 85 (For simmed games: 25)
Injury severity: 45 (For simmed games: 0)
